2. Terry Taylor cut a promo during his match and says he is the best looking man in the WWF. Taylor says the WWF will find out what he is all about. Fans are heard chanting “rooster” during the match.

3. Craig DeGeorge conducted an interview with WWF Intercontinental Champion the Honkytonk Man and Jimmy Hart. Honky will wrestle Brutus Beefcake for the championship. It’s promoted as the final chance for Beefcake to win the championship from Honky. Honky was excited to sign the contract once it was revealed it was the final meeting between the two of them. Honky puts himself over as the greatest ever and says no one is taking his belt nor are they going to cut his hair. Honky is going to sing his song at MSG, too. ‘

Final Thoughts:
Not a whole lot going on this week. There was some Summerslam hype for the big tag match between the Mega Powers and the Mega Bucks, but aside from that there wasn’t anything of note. Seems like it might be a slow couple of weeks before the big show.
