Written by: Bob Colling

World Wrestling Federation presents Superstars
Date:
6/30/1990
From: Binghamton, NY

Matches:

1.)Rick Rude defeated Jim Powers
2.)The Bushwhackers defeated Iron Mike Sharpe & Bob Bradley
3.)Boris Zhukov defeated Brady Boone
4.)Tugboat defeated Dale Wolfe
5.)Dusty Rhodes defeated Black Bart
6.)Earthquake defeated Mark Thomas

Angle Developments/Notes:
1. Mean Gene hosts WWF Update. He is still talking about Hulk Hogan and he says that the Hulkster is feeling better physically. Tugboat is back as well and he thanks the fans for sending their letters of motivation. He thinks Hogan is going to be coming back better than ever. He decides to read a letter. A couple of fans also say that Hogan should come back. Blah, blah, blah.

2. Ted DiBiase is back in Cobb County, GA. He is at a football field with a guy who was Bossman’s coach. The coach is ripping on Bossman saying he wasn’t coordinated and couldn’t do anything right on the field. DiBiase calls Bossman nothing more than a hick.

3. WWF Intercontinental Champion Mr. Perfect and Bobby Heenan are the special guests on the Brother Love Show. Perfect tells Love he is correct when announcing him as the perfect champion. Perfect puts over Bobby Heenan as the perfect manager. Heenan asks if you would want your son to look like Brutus Beefcake or look like Mr. Perfect. Heenan puts over his guy as being perfect. Mr. Perfect knows that Beefcake would like to cut his hair but that isn’t going to happen. Perfect says their issues are about the WWF Intercontinental Championship and Beefcake needs to realize that is what separates them from each other. Perfect finishes off saying that Beefcake will never hold the WWF Intercontinental Championship.

Final Thoughts:
Well, it looks like we have reached a rough patch for WWF 1990. The shows basically have the same segments and there really hasn’t been much of anything different. So, this is a thumbs down yet again.

Thanks for reading.
