Stetson knocks Simpson off the apron to the floor. Simpson wraps Stetson’s leg around the ring post. Simpson monkey flips Stetson out of the corner. Simpson hits a top rope splash to pin Stetson. (1/2*. Simpson did virtually nothing of interest other than a crossbody and the top rope splash. GWF continues the trend of not presenting the style you’d expect from the division.)
3.) Parsons struts around the ring to get a pop from the crowd. Street does a little bit of dancing for a crowd pop. Street gets a hammerlock on Parsons, but lets go of the hold as Parsons reaches the ropes. Street goes back to a hammerlock, but Parsons goes to the ropes again. Street pummels Parsons, but is dumped over the top to the floor. The referee calls for the bell and has disqualified Parsons. (*. The brawling wasn’t too bad on the floor, but aside from that there wasn’t much going on here. The finish was rather lame and seemed to be a way to protect Parsons from doing a job.)
4.) Joe Pedicino hosts the Newsroom. Pedicino talks about Iceman Parsons and Max Andrews. Parsons thinks he should be able to use his stick, but Andrews doesn’t think he should. Pedicino says there’s no rule against it. Pedicino notes that over the top rope is not a disqualification (it literally just happened). There will be a twenty count to get back into the ring. Pedicino brings up Scott Steiner’s injury in WCW and they wish him well. Pedicino notes GWF will have a tag tournament, too.

There was nothing to be excited about here, at all.)
7.) Boni Blackstone interviews GWF Television Champion The Patriot, regarding the fans question from earlier. Patriot says it is the greatest feeling he’s ever had because of the people he’s met in the GWF and all the people he represents. Patriot is thrilled to represent all the fans. He didn’t have the title on him, though.
8.) Bill Pedicino interviews ‘Wild’ Bill Irwin. Irwin has his whip handy and Pedicino asks if Irwin is going to be in the tag tournament, which he’s going to be in. Irwin is also going to be in the heavyweight championship. Irwin doesn’t know what he’s going to do with all the titles he’ll hold. Irwin brings his whip because it is his partner and he’ll tag the whip whenever he needs it.

Davis chokes Gonzales before delivering a few forearm strikes. Gonzales elbows Davis against the ropes. Davis hooks Gonzales to hit a snap suplex for a two count. Davis strikes Gonzales and hits an axe kick for the win. (DUD. There was literally nothing exciting about this match either. The crowd didn’t seem to care all that much.)
10.) Craig Johnson and Scott Hudson interview Mike Davis. Davis got the last spot in the tournament. Hudson asks if Davis is looking for a partner. Davis asks how does Hudson know what he’s doing in the GWF. Davis tells Hudson one thing people can’t do is trust him. Hudson asks again if Davis is looking for a partner to go after the tag titles. Davis is always looking for more money and he’s looking at someone to help him achieve that, but it is nobody’s business.
Final Thoughts:
Safe to say there’s nothing here to be entertained or excited about. The division lacks any excitement at this point and the style of wrestling is not high energy or full of any high spots.
Thanks for reading.
