8/11/2000
From: Huntington, WV

Matches:
1.) Danny Doring & Roadkill defeated The Prodigy & Billy Wiles
2.) Tajiri defeated EZ Money
3.) ECW World Champion Justin Credible fought Kid Kash to a no contest to retain the title

Angle Developments/Notes:
1.) Lou E. Dangerously is in the ring to cut a promo on the fans calling them inbred humans. The fans waste no time throwing trash at Dangerously. It looks like what you’d see at a WCW main event on Nitro already. He is hosting the Danger Zone with his guests being Steve Corino and Scotty Anton. Dangerously says that Corino should feel privileged to be the first guest on the Danger Zone. Corino tells Dangerously that he “doesn’t give a fuck what the Network feels.” He says that Cyrus made it clear that Credible and Rhino would be in the tag team title tournament in two weeks. Corino is pissed because those spots belonged to himself and Anton. They helped Justin Credible and Rhino win their single titles. ECW World Champion Justin Credible comes out as Corino says he wouldn’t be anything without them. Credible doesn’t care if he is talking about Cyrus, the Network or the tag title tournament. However, when he mentions his name he was a real problem. Corino tells Credible he would have lost the belt long time ago if it weren’t for him. Credible proceeds to deliver his corny catchphrase, but Corino cuts him off saying he has the lamest catchphrase in the business! Corino tells Credible that he is a bitch, but here comes ECW Television Champion Rhino! That leads to all four men brawling. Several officials come in to breakup the fight. Joey Styles says “we just witnessed the breakup of the Network.”

2.) Outside, we see Steve Corino telling Dangerously to tell Cyrus that he should have put them in the tournament. They leave the arena in a car with Victory. Dangerously wants to know what he should tell Cyrus.

3.) Backstage, Justin Credible and Kid Kash have a confrontation with Credible calling Kash RVD’s butt buddy. Looks like we’ll have a match between those two later tonight.

4.) Our opening match is an extended squash match. Doring pinned Prodigy following a top rope leg drop while Roadkill had Prodigy in a wheelbarrow position.

5.) Backstage, Sinister Minster is with Tajiri and Mikey Whipwreck. They are going to discuss temptation. The best way to deal with temptation is to just give in. Whipwreck grabs the subject and it’s Electra. Tajiri really likes her breasts and says “me love her a long time.” Electra slaps him and he spits green mist at her, which gets blurred out by TNN. They laugh to end the segment.

6.) Backstage, CW Anderson is telling Johnny Swinger and Simon Diamond that no one wants to hear predictions. CW tells Diamond and Swinger to start thinking and wrestling like an Anderson so they don’t become jokes again.

7.) Early on, Tajiri and Money have a standoff after neither man is able to get any advantage. Tajiri delivers a kick to the chest and goes for the Tarantula but Chris Hamrick punches Tajiri and that allows Money to spike Tajiri with the Money In The Bank for a near fall. Money hits a standing moonsault but Tajiri kicks out at two. Tajiri comes back with a few kicks and a standing moonsault of his own for a near fall. Money drops Tajiri throat first across the top and soon hits a somersault clothesline from the apron into the ring after a distraction from Hamrick. Julio Dinero enters and helps Money hit a double slam but Tajiri kicks out at two. Money has a submission on Tajiri but can’t get a tap out. Tajiri kicks a chair into Hamrick on the apron to knock him off. Tajiri hits a handspring back elbow and counters a power bomb with a tornado DDT on Money followed by a kick to the head for the win. After the match, Tajiri is attacked by Hamrick and Dinero as they hit double super kicks. Tajiri rolls to the floor as the heels check on Money. Tajiri comes back into the ring and spits mist at Dinero. Hamrick gets trapped in the tree of woe and Tajiri delivers a baseball slide to his face! Little Guido enters and plants Tajiri with the Kiss of Death! Mikey Whipwreck comes down with a 2×4 wrapped in barbed wire and on fire! He hits Guido with it to make the save! (**. Some good action as EZ Money has some really good offense and Tajiri is really at the peak of his in-ring skill. I think it is safe to say that Tajiri could be the #2 baby face in the company at this point.)

8.) Kash arm drags Credible and sends the champ over the top to the floor with a clothesline. Kash takes Credible out with a springboard cross body on the floor! Kash sends Credible into the railing and the champ goes into the crowd. Kash springboards off a chair to dive onto Credible in the crowd. Back in the ring, Credible nails Kash with a super kick and gets a chair from Francine. Credible slams Kash face first onto the chair and gets a microphone to taunt Kash while beating on him. Credible misses a baseball slide and hits the ring post. Kash slingshots from the apron to leg drop Credible for a near fall. Kash dropkicks Credible while upside down in the corner for a two count. Francine trips Kash and that allows the champ to deliver a kendo stick shot for a near fall. Francine is on the apron with a tray but accidentally hits Credible, which almost gave Kash a victory. Kash hits a top rope hurricanrana for a two count as Francine jumps on the referee. Kash has Francine and ducks a kendo stick shot from Credible. Rhino is in the ring and GORES Kash. Kash is double teamed by Rhino and Credible until Rob Van Dam runs out and makes the save to close the show. (*1/4. The no finish hurts the match, but Kash looked good in there with the champ.)

Final Thoughts:
I’m glad they didn’t job out Kid Kash to Credible. The guy had a stellar performance against RVD a few weeks ago and Kash appears to be getting more and more of a crowd reaction. That’s an instance where he needs to remain strong. The split of the Network seemed to be a rather quick on for the stable that seemingly still had a lot of legs left in the angle. Now, Corino and Anton are the baby faces moving forward. I suppose Corino is more likable than other members in the Network, so it make sense. I’d consider the episode an average one.

Thanks for reading.
