Mike Tenay and Tazz are shocked over the announcement. Abyss and Hogan embrace in the ring and play to the crowd while Styles and Flair are livid at the top of the ramp.

End of show

My Take: I actually thought he opening promo was a solid segment. One thing I didn’t like was Abyss coming out to Hulk Hogan’s theme music circa 1995. The music just makes Abyss come across as a complete joke and not into the monster that he should be in TNA. Flair, I thought, really made the segment work well. His crazy actions and mannerisms were very entertaining in my opinion.

The tables match was rather bad. Either Brian Knobs really had his shoulder separated or he really has a hard time moving around in the ring. Doesn’t matter to me, the fact of the matter is this…. Brian Knobs should NOT be wrestling AT ALL. Get him off television as soon as possible. The only way I would want him to come back on television is if he were to lose some weight, but I don’t see that happening, at all.

The aftermath between Daffney and ODB came across kind of bad. Daffney couldn’t get the ring steps up high enough to hit ODB on the knee. Besides, the steps weren’t high enough for the broom attack to do any real damage. Still, I am looking forward to a Daffney/Tara match which I hope is a hardcore match.

Glad to see Beer Money Inc. back on television and getting a title shot. Thank god the best tag team in TNA and perhaps going today are being used again.

I thought the Bischoff/Jarrett segments were fine this week. Bischoff’s character is a very good one at that. Forcing Jarrett to be a burger flipper is just great. Bischoff has always been a great heel character.

Well, the seeds are planted that Morgan and Hernandez will be splitting. Morgan is clearly the heel in this situation, and rightfully so. Hernandez also shouldn’t ever be in a promo by himself. He didn’t look comfortable during his segment with Beer Money, I thought.

Obvious that the “recently returned” Kazarian would be getting the X-Division title match. That match was by far the best match on the show. I see Kazarian winning the title at Destination X, as well.

It is official. I am a Mr. Anderson fan. His promos lately have been fantastic and is a great mixture of humor with a heel statements. He is a bright spot in TNA, in my opinion.

I don’t mind a apparent Magnus/Terry feud. I think that could work fine. Angle getting the upper hand this week was refreshing, but he did it from behind so Anderson has a excuse.

You know, for two guys who do not have TNA contracts Hall and Waltman manage to get on television every week and arrive at the building every week. Security must be lead by Doug Dillinger in TNA. The beat down segment didn’t really impress me or anything, it was “just there” to me.

Abyss/Wolfe was a rather quick match, just like everything else this week. I hate that Wolfe has been losing a lot lately, but oh well. The heels beating down Abyss and Hogan allows them to “save face” I guess. I would’ve thought that Hogan and Flair returning to the ring would have been held off for either a PPV or a Impact outside of the Impact Zone so they can make some money off of it. But, oh well. TNA is all about the ratings and not logic, it seems.

Overall, this week progressed Abyss/Styles/Hogan/Flair and Jarrett/Bischoff/Foley feuds, really. Some things have been set up for Destination X, so that is a good thing. Seemed liked a lot of talking this week and not enough of “non-stop action”. I didn’t really like this show, the first show I haven’t liked a few weeks.

Thanks for reading.
