Written by: Bob Colling

World Championship Wrestling presents Saturday Night
From: Atlanta, GA

1.) WCW World Tag Team Champions Sting & Lex Luger defeated Barrio Brothers
2.) Belfast Bruiser defeated Mike Marcello
3.) The Giant defeated Larry Santo & Pepep Prado in a handicap match
4.) WCW Television Champion Johnny B. Badd defeated Bull Payne
5.) Sgt. Craig Pittman defeated VK Wallstreet
6.) The Nasty Boys defeated Manny Fernandez & Red Tyler
7.) Arn Anderson & Brian Pillman defeated The Cobra & Joey Maggs
8.) WCW World Heavyweight Champion Randy Savage defeated Chris Benoit by disqualification

Angle Developments/Notes:
1.) Belfast Bruiser cut a promo saying that he has chased the low-life known as Lord Steven Regal. He finds Regal to be scum and is mad that Regal continues to run from him.

2.) Road Warriors cut a promo on Sting & Lex Luger saying they will be paying the consequences at Superbrawl VI.

3.) Brian Pillman cuts a promo about his respect strap match and says he likes pain.

4.) Savage quickly attacks Benoit from behind before the match starts. Benoit sends Savage into the ring post and soon puts a Boston Crab on Savage. Benoit works over the back with a back breaker but misses a flying head butt from the top. Savage heads to the top rope but Arn Anderson comes out with Flair to attack the champion leading to the DQ.

Final Thoughts:
Mostly a show full of jobber matches as the main event didn’t get a ton of time and it was more a beating from the Horsemen instead of a competitive main event. It was a forgettable episode, I’d say.
