8.) Raven & Perry Saturn defeated Silver King & Scott Armstrong
9.) Rick Steiner defeated Fit Finlay by disqualification
10.) Meng & Jerry Flynn fought the Barbarian & Hugh Morrus to a double count-out

Angle Developments/Notes:
1.) Mean Gene conducted an interview with WCW Tag Team Champion Billy Kidman and WCW Tag Team Champion & WCW Cruiserweight Champion Rey Mysterio Jr. They will be wrestling at Spring Stampede next Sunday. Rey says that he would give Kidman another shot at the belt prior to them winning the tag team championships. Kidman looks forward to regain the WCW Cruiserweight Championship. Rey feels special to hold two championships at the same time. Kidman knows that Rey gets more chicks with more gold, but it doesn’t work the same way it would for him and Gene.

2.) Stevie Ray makes his way down to the ring following Vincent’s victory. Ray didn’t think Vincent would pull out a victory over a guy like Horowitz. Ray gets in the ring and calls Vincent a fruit booty. Ray says he is the number one guy in the NWO and is the leader. Vincent doesn’t get a microphone but instead leans towards the camera on the apron, which looks weird and says he is the boss. Vincent bails to the floor to avoid contact with Ray.

3.) Jericho comes off the ropes with a shoulder block to knock Kaz down. Hayashi comes back with a dropkick but runs into a big boot. Kaz connects with a tilt a whirl back breaker. Kaz continues with a head scissors sending Jericho to the floor. Kaz takes Jericho out with a dive over the top to the floor! Kaz goes to the top after sending Jericho into the ring but misses a missile dropkick. Jericho attempts the Lion Tamer, but Kaz blocks it but is sent chest first into the corner. Jericho tosses Kaz across the ring with a release German suplex for a two count. Jericho drives Kaz down with a vertical suplex for a two count with a cocky cover. Kaz battles back with a spinning heel kick to stagger Jericho. Kaz gets a two count following a bulldog. Jericho counters a victory roll and locks in the Lion Tamer for the win. (***. A solid match that went by pretty quickly. I enjoyed what Kaz had to offer here, too. I think Kaz is one of the more under appreciated wrestlers WCW had.)

4.) Mean Gene conducted an interview with Hak, who is wrestling Bam-Bam Bigelow at Spring Stampede. Hak says he can see things so clearly now. Hak says he is the king of hardcore and has beaten both Bigelow and Raven. Spring Stampede isn’t going to be anything different. Hak whacks himself with a kendo stick and considers that to be out of control. He’s ready for Bigelow.

5.) Steiner backs Finlay into the corner and backs away taunting Finlay. Finlay controls Steiner with a nerve hold to bring Steiner to the canvas. Finlay delivers an elbow shot and uppercut to stagger Steiner into the ropes. They trade a few shots with Steiner getting stopped by an eye rake. Finlay drops an elbow and gets a two count. Steiner quickly takes Finlay over with a suplex but can’t get a three count. Steiner bites Fit’s buttocks and Fit looks in complete shock that he’d do that. Fit wants to shake hands, but Steiner doesn’t trust him. Steiner proceeds to bite Fit’s hand but is met with a few more strikes knocking Rick down. Fit slams Rick chest first across the apron followed by an elbow strike. Fit drops Rick throat first across the guard railing before rolling back into the ring. Fit works over the left knee for a few moments but isn’t able to get a submission. Fit drives his shoulder into Rick’s midsection but misses a clothesline. Rick takes advantage with his trademark power slam for a two count. Fit ducks a clothesline and drives Steiner down with a rolling fireman’s carry. Fit goes to the floor grabbing a chair and rams the chair into Rick’s midsection and chokes him out! That causes a disqualification. (**. It wasn’t going too bad, really. I think these two would work rather well with each other if they went with a program between them. It held my interest and I was entertained.)

6.) Meng and Morrus kick off the main event with Morrus bailing after a few chops. Flynn attacks Morrus sending him back into the ring. Meng drops Morrus with a chop and hit a scoop slam. Meng comes off the ropes but misses an elbow drop. Barbarian tags in and Flynn tags in as well kicks Barbarian several times in the corner. Flynn hits a spinning heel kick in the corner. Flynn misses a bicycle kick in the corner and Barbarian slams Flynn before tagging Morrus back in. Barbarian tags in and double teams Flynn briefly. Barbarian stomps on Flynn but Flynn gets a two count with a sunset flip. Morrus tags in and knocks Flynn down for another near fall. Flynn gets double teamed again with strikes and Jimmy Hart chokes Flynn on the floor. Barbarian slams Flynn and tags Morrus back in. Morrus goes to the top rope managing to hit an elbow drop. Flynn ducks a clothesline and drops Hugh with a spinning heel kick. Morrus tags in Barbarian and Meng gets the hot tag hammering away on Barbarian. Meng atomic drops Barbarian followed by a big boot. Meng chops on Morrus while Flynn and Barbarian brawl on the floor. Meng goes to the floor and now all four men are brawling which leads to a double count-out. (*. A rather uninteresting match but it was cool to see Meng get over as a face in this match. Flynn also worked well in the match, which surprised me.)

Final Thoughts:
Not a bad program with a good Jericho/Kaz match and some decent filler throughout. The promo work this week wasn’t awful as they paid attention to a couple of feuds taking place at the pay per view. It was a solid show.

Thanks for reading.
