Angle Developments/Notes:
1. Del Ray and Montoya start the match. It’s a rather slow start with both men doing wrestling holds until Montoya uses the ropes to hit a head scissors and a superkick. All four men are in the ring and Del Ray is sent into Pritchard in the corner! Pritchard accidentally monkey flips Del Ray and they dropkicked to the floor! Kid and Montoya work over Del Ray’s right arm. Kid fights out of the corner with right hands. Pritchard comes off the ropes to deliver a shoulder block but Kid quickly hits a spin kick for a near fall. Montoya gets a near fall with a sunset flip off the top. Del Ray knees Aldo from the apron and Pritchard plants him with a DDT. Del Ray delivers a superkick for a two count on Aldo. Del Ray keeps his offense with a clothesline. Kid is knocked off the apron to prevent Aldo from making the tag. Del Ray comes off the top to hit Aldo on the back while the referee was distracted. Kid gets the tag and goes to work with a series of kick. Kid heads to the top after a snap suplex to hit a missile dropkick on Del Ray but Pritchard broke up the cover. Cornette distracts Kid and he is clotheslined by Pritchard. That’s good enough for the win. (**1/2. A rather poor finish to the match, but up to that it was a solid match. It’s an important win for the Bodies who haven’t had a big win during their run in the WWF, I feel like. So, this is important to give them creditability in the tournament.)

2. Raymond Rougeau conducts an interview with Shawn Michaels. Ray says that people think Michaels is responsible for his team losing at Survivor Series. Michaels says that he and Diesel were more than just tag team champions, they were friends. Shawn is taking credit for Diesel’s success. Michaels says that Diesel can’t lie to himself and knows that without Shawn, he is a zero. Michaels is the man who disbanded the team and says he is the man who got Diesel the Intercontinental and Tag Team Championships. “I’m the man who made Big Daddy Cool, period.” Michaels says that the title shot that Diesel got was suppose to be his. Michaels must have lost a rock, paper, scissors contest for Diesel to get his shot. Shawn believes he would be the man today if he had gotten his shot. Michaels promises to go through every man to get his shot at Diesel.

3. This is the debut of Hakushi in the WWF. Hakushi is getting some decent crowd reaction for this being his first match. He hit a cross body on the floor and won by count-out as a result.

Final Thoughts:
A good show this week as the featured match was a solid one and the interview segment with Michaels did a good job or promoting the eventual showdown between Michaels and Diesel.
