Gorilla Monsoon and Shawn Michaels are on commentary. They hype up Jarrett’s singing debut and the tag team match that will see Luger team with Smith to take on Tatanka and Bigelow.

Opening Contest: Davey Boy Smith/Lex Luger fought Tatanka/Bam-Bam Bigelow to a double count-out:
Luger is attacked before Smith can make it to the ring but Smith runs down and attacks Tatanka to help Luger. Luger clotheslines Tatanka to the floor while Smith is worked on by Bigelow with right hands. Smith comes out of the corner with a shoulder block and Luger leaps off the middle rope to clothesline Bigelow for a two count. Bigelow misses a splash in the corner and Luger controls Bigelow with an arm bar. Bigelow misses another splash in the corner and Luger delivers a few clotheslines until Tatanka knee lifts Luger from the ropes. Tatanka tags in and hammers away on Luger. Tatanka chops Luger as he runs the ropes to keep the upper hand. Tatanka scoop slams Luger and connects with two elbow drops for a two count. Back from commercial, Tatanka leaps off the top to hit a top rope chop for a two count. Tatanka sends Luger back first into the corner numerous times before locking in a bear hug. Luger fights out of the hold but is poked in the eyes. Luger big boots Tatanka in the corner and battles back with several right hands. Bigelow tags in as Luger back suplexs Tatanka. Bigelow hits a falling head butt on Luger to stop the momentum. Luger catches Bigelow as he comes off the ropes to connect with a power slam. Smith gets the hot tag and cleans house as he hits the running power slam on Tatanka but DiBiase pulls Tatanka out of the ring and all four men are brawling on the floor, which causes a count-out. (*1/2. It wasn’t too bad since they kept moving, but the offense wasn’t all that great. Shawn Michaels actually took a shot at Luger for always doing a clothesline, which was the most entertaining thing about the match, really.)
After the match, several officials break up the brawling on the floor.

Royal Rumble Report with Todd Pettengill is up next. Todd talks about Pamela Anderson being the special host for the event. Todd runs down the card for the event which will see WWF World Champion Diesel defend against Bret Hart. WWF Intercontinental Champion Razor Ramon defends against Jeff Jarrett. Todd says that the match we just saw will continue later on in the show. IRS squares off against the Undertaker at the Royal Rumble. Todd also hypes up the Royal Rumble match.

Second Contest: Duke Droese defeated Mike Bell:
Droese wins the squash match following a tilt a whirl power slam.

A video promoting the debut of Kama is aired.

Footage from WWF Superstars where the Headshrinkers defeated Owen Hart and Jim Neidhart to advance in the tag team title tournament is aired.

Jerry Lawler is in the ring to introduce his guest on Kings Court this week, Owen Hart. Owen has the towel that cost Bret Hart the WWF World Championship with him. Owen says he believes his parents are considering the option of adopting Bret because they are embarrassed! Owen is happy to be the reason why Bret lost the championship. Owen says this is all part of his master plan. Owen says that he will win the WWF World Championship but will not lose it like his brother because he will retire as the WWF World Champion! He will be walking out of the Royal Rumble match as the winner.

Third Contest: Jeff Jarrett defeated Buck Quartermaine:
Jarrett wins the match with a figure four leg lock.
After the match, the Roadie sets the ring up so that Jarrett will be able to sing his song. Jarrett complains when various things don’t go according to plan such as a spotlight and the sound. Jarrett ends up just leaving the ring because it doesn’t go the way he wanted it to.

Super Dave talks about his new show on USA. We see a clip of a critic ripping on Dave at a casino. The show looks really dumb.

Main Event: Davey Boy Smith/Lex Luger defeated Tatanka/Bam-Bam Bigelow:
The match has already started as RAW returns from commercial. Bigelow works on Luger with a few head butts and a vertical suplex for a two count. Tatanka tags in to stop Luger from making a tag and delivers a few shots. Tatanka stops Luger with a running clothesline but Luger battles back with a few right hands until Bigelow tags in to stop Luger. Bigelow delivers a few falling head butts for a near fall. Bigelow connects with a few leg drops but Luger kicks out at two on a cover. Back from a commercial, Luger continues to be dominated by Tatanka and Bigelow. Luger comes off the ropes and clotheslines Bigelow and makes the tag to Smith who cleans house with dropkicks and power slams but only gets a two count on Tatanka. Luger clotheslines Bigelow to the floor while Tatanka hammers away on Smith. Tatanka knocks Bigelow off the apron after Smith sends him into the ropes and Smith pins Tatanka to win the match. (*. Well, that sucked more than the first match. Obviously, they just taped the second match right after the first one because there wasn’t any kind of entrance this time around. It was pretty boring, but short.)
After the match, Bigelow argues with Tatanka and DiBiase over the loss.

Next week, Fink vs. Harvey Whippleman in a tuxedo match but more importantly Razor Ramon defends the WWF Intercontinental Championship against Owen Hart!

Final Thoughts:
I didn’t find this show to be all that entertaining. Anytime I have to sit through two Lex Luger matches in one show, that usually makes for a pretty bad show. Owen’s interview with done nicely as he appears to be continuing his feud with Bret Hart. Lastly, it looks like they are teasing issues in the Corporation already. I’ve never liked heel factions have issues before six months of being together. Anyway, a really bland show this week.

Thanks for reading.
