Angle Developments/Notes:
1. Ray Rougeau conducted an interview with Lex Luger, who has a mirror on the podium for the interview. Luger comes out and poses for the mirror. Luger chats with Ray while posing for the mirror. He really is in love with himself. Luger laughs at the thought of Mr. Perfect beating him at WrestleMania IX. He is beyond perfection. Mr. Perfect appears on the big screen and that gets Luger’s attention. Luger wishes that Perfect would come out from the backstage area and be by his side. Perfect can’t wait for WrestleMania because he has to see it. So, Perfect makes his way out from the backstage area and Luger doesn’t seem so happy to see that happen. Luger is happy that Perfect came out and says Perfect will now see a dose of reality. Luger begins to pose for Perfect. Perfect looks at himself in the mirror and asks himself who is the most perfect of them all. He leaves Luger upset to end the segment.

2. We hear comments from the Giant Gonzalez and Harvey Wippleman. Wippleman says that the Undertaker is going to meet his match at Mania. Gonzalez just says that the Undertaker is finished!

3. A video of Crush walking on the beach with a pineapple is shown. Crush was very happy to find out that he would be getting his hands on Doink at WrestleMania IX. Crush doesn’t see the resemblance of him being a pineapple head. However, he thinks Doink looks familiar to the pineapple. Crush crushes the pineapple to end the segment.

Final Thoughts:
This was a subpar episode of Superstars, in my opinion. The Perfect/Luger segment was just okay as Luger is awful at acting. There wasn’t any kind of physical confrontation, which would have been nice but instead just the two of them trying to showoff. As we are inching closer to WrestleMania the shows are seemingly getting subpar and the hype is becoming very generic. Thus, this gets a thumbs down from me.

Thanks for reading.
