Angle Developments/Notes:

1. Mr. Perfect opens the show with some comments regarding what happened last week. Perfect calls Michaels and Diesel a couple of bullies for attacking Kid. Perfect lets us know he will be in Kid’s corner to protect him.

2. Gorilla Monsoon is back to host the WWF Update. The topic of conversation this week is the WWF World Tag Team Championship feud between the Quebecers and the Steiner Brothers. We see footage from Scott/Pierre on RAW where Scott needed to win in order for a rematch to take place. Scott did just that after a Frankensteiner. Johnny Polo proceeded to sat that the Steiner Brothers would not get a title shot and instead a different team would.

3. Ludvig Borga is hanging out at a river where he calls it filthy example of America. He doesn’t understand why Luger is proud of the mess. Borga calls Luger a garbage driver if he stands for the mess.

4. Boni Blackstone calls out Jim Cornette and WWF World Champion Yokozuna for a special interview to close the show. Cornette thinks Boni is in love with Mr. Fuji! Cornette reminds us that Yokozuna still has the gold and he will be the champion forever. He tells us that Luger will never get a rematch despite what everyone wants. Cornette says Yokozuna has no fear and believes everyone is afraid to wrestle Yokozuna. There is no one who can beat Yokozuna. Just when Cornette says that, the lights go out! That can only mean one person. A gong is heard and the Undertaker is standing behind Jim Cornette, who proceeds to fall down! Taker is staring at Yokozuna who is still stone faced. Paul Bearer says his man has a challenge. Taker steps forward and gets right into Yoko’s face. Taker reveals the challenge to Yoko for a match for the championship! Yoko backs up and walks away.

Final Thoughts:
From a wrestling standpoint there isn’t much to see here. But, the last segment between Yoko/Taker was done very well and it’s probably the best feud to go with at this point. The fans were eating it up and it should be fun to see how that progresses. This episode gets a thumbs up from me.

Thanks for reading.
