2.) SMW Tag Team Champions Bobby Eaton & Stan Lane defeated Reno Riggins & Dixie Dynamite
3.) Yukihiro Kanemura defeated Kevin Sullivan by disqualification
4.) SMW Beat The Champ TV Champion Tim Horner defeated Killer Kyle to retain the title

Angle Developments/Notes:
1.) Bob Armstrong says they are not responsible for Kevin Sullivan’s most recent bill. Sullivan will be wrestling a Japanese star tonight.

2.) Tracy Smothers is interviewed about his upcoming chain match with Dirty White Boy on April 2nd. Smothers knows that Ron Wright has handed down his chain to White Boy, but Smothers says he isn’t going to lose and will be the new champion. Smothers isn’t going to let his fans down as he is going to be the next heavyweight champion.

3.) Bob Caudle interviews SMW Heavyweight Champion Dirty White Boy and Ron Wright. Wright continues to deny getting out of the wheelchair and can’t believe he would be accused of lying. Wright has taught White Boy what will be done to Smothers on April 2nd. White Boy reminds us that there are no rules and you have to touch all four corners. White Boy doesn’t know that Smothers has accepted the challenge, apparently because he continues to say if Smothers has the guts he would accept the challenge. He isn’t joint to let down Wright in the chain match.

4.) Jim Cornette and the Heavenly Bodies are interviewed following their victory. Cornette asks Eaton if he is upset with Tom Pritchard, but says he isn’t. Pritchard thinks it is Eaton’s fault that Arn Anderson is in SMW and get shoved by Eaton for saying that. Cornette puts Anderson over as being a ruthless wrestler who he has seen break other wrestlers apart. Cornette says that everyone in the nine tag match has been at all the major venues, which isn’t exactly true. Cornette believes they can’t be stopped and there will be no problems at the Bluegrass Brawl.

5.) Down & Dirty this week is with Brian Lee to talk about Kevin Sullivan. Lee talks about his upcoming match with Sullivan where he will literally roll dice to see what match he will compete in. Lee has encountered everything Sullivan has had to offer. Lee thinks that Sullivan will be seeing tombstones in his future. Lee believes he will come out on top.

6.) Kevin Sullivan attacks Kanemura as he was about to be interviewed. Oh brother, Kanemura is busted wide open as Sullivan continues to beat on Kanemura. Kevin is just beat the crap out of the poor guy. Kanemura finds some energy as he hits a leaping clothesline and a spinning heel kick. Sullivan stops him with a spike to the head and that ends that comeback. Sullivan carves the spike into his arm and does it more. This is really disgusting as Sullivan literally put the spike in the arm and you can see the gash. Why on earth are they doing this to the guy? Nightstalker whacks several enhancement talents with a steel chair. Brian Lee comes out and whacks Nightstalker with a steel chair. Lee pulls the poor wrestler out of the ring. This was way too violent and unnecessary.

7.) Kyle avoids a rollup but not the second attempt as Horner gets a near fall. Horner dropkicks Kyle to the floor and plays to the crowd. Kyle attempts a back breaker but Horner countered with a head scissors. Kyle puts Horner on the top turnbuckle but Horner takes Kyle down to the canvas. Kyle rams Horner face first into the top turnbuckle. Kyle hits a side slam for a near fall. Kyle delivers a leg drop but only gets a near fall. Kyle works over Horner in the corner with strikes in the corner. Kyle plants Horner with a snap power slam for another two count. Kyle misses a splash in the corner and Horner hammers away on Kyle hitting a dropkick. Horner decks Kyle several times and drops Kyle with a back elbow for a near fall. Kyle knocks Horner over the top to the floor. Horner hangs onto the ropes to avoid a slam and lands on top to get the victory! (*1/4. Kyle wasn’t as boring as he usually is as he had some decent power offense. Horner didn’t do anything for me here as he was taking the offense. It’s a rather uneventful main event this week.)

8.) Bob Caudle interviews Kevin Sullivan and the Nightstalker. Nightstalker says we just saw another example of what they are capable of doing. Sullivan has been fined $5,000 for his actions. Sullivan says the Japanese man tried to hurt him and he got made. Sullivan gets aggressive and angry and is going to show Lee how angry he is.

9.) Bob Caudle interviews Arn Anderson and the Rock N’ Roll Express. Anderson says the kid will need a lot of stitches to get the wounds closed thanks to Kevin Sullivan. Anderson says that Cornette has taken advantage of everyone in the area. Arn says they got the dirtiest player in the game to have their back against the Heavenly Bodies. Anderson says that Bobby Eaton betrayed him and has never tolerated Stan Lane. Arn is going to get his hands on Eaton in Knoxville. Anderson isn’t intimidated by anyone. Ricky Morton chimes in and tells the Heavenly Bodies to be ready for action.

Final Thoughts:
I can see how the Sullivan segment would turn people away from the product. There is no reason to gash a guys arm wide open like that. Yeah, it makes Sullivan look like a crazy person, but that has been established over the past several months. The actions this week were disgusting and misguided. That was the most memorable segment on the show for all the wrong reasons.

Thanks for reading.
