Matches:
1.) Tracy Smothers defeated Brian Logan
2.) SMW Beat The Champ TV Champion Lance Storm defeated Chris Hamrick to retain the title
3.) Bruiser Bedlam defeated Doug Dalton
4.) SMW Tag Team Champions Rock N’ Roll Express defeated The Gangstas to retain the titles

Angle Developments/Notes:
1.) Chris Candido, Tammy Fytch and Boo Bradley are interviewed. Candido is pissed about losing to Lance Storm last week thanks to Brian Lee getting involved. Candido still has a problem with Ricky Morton and promises to shave Morton’s head. Candido screams that he hates Brian Lee and he is going to take care of Lee once and for all. Fytch puts over Bradley as being the best thing she’s ever owned.

2.) SMW Heavyweight Champion Dirty White Boy is interviewed regarding Bruiser Bedlam. White Boy says that they aren’t in Detroit but rather in Smoky Mountain. He will be damned if any yankee will come into the area, which is ironic since White Boy was once a traitor yankee. White Boy has worked long and hard for the strap and he isn’t going to let a yankee and a crybaby to win the title. White Boy is going to make sure that Cornette’s mother won’t be able to recognize him. White Boy assures Bedlam he will see him real soon.

3.) Jim Cornette went on a search for the new commissioner but went to a funeral home on accident so no such luck on that one, apparently.

4.) A video promoting the feud between the Rock N’ Roll Express and the Gangstas is aired to give us the reason for why they are battling tonight. Recently in Johnson City, the Gangstas had cost the Express the tag team titles against Brian Lee and Chris Candido.

5.) Gibson and Jack kick off the title match with Jack stalling a little bit with the crowd heavily behind the champions. Gibson drops Jack with a full nelson when Jack was walking the ropes trying to get out of the hold. Jack comes off the ropes and is met with an arm drag. All four men are in the ring but just have a standoff. Morton enters the match and hits Jack with a couple of right hands. Gibson is distracting the referee which allows the Gangstas to double team Morton and get the upper hand. Mustafa enters and drives Morton down with a back breaker followed by a splash off the middle rope for a near fall. Morton continues to be worked over as Gibson tries to enter but is stopped by the referee. Gibson gets the hot tag and cleans house on the challengers. Gibson drops Mustafa with a kick to the head but Jack breaks up the cover. Morton dropkicks Mustafa and Gibson gets the pin. (*. Alright, it’s a boring match but the loss for the Gangstas makes sense considering it wasn’t a fight but rather a standard wrestling match. So, in that regard it’s not a bad loss.) After the match, the Gangstas mug the Express with nightsticks. Morton has been busted wide open due to the attack.

6.) The Gangstas are interviewed to end the program. Jack says two wrongs don’t make a right. They are setting the tone for what is going to happen in the days to come. Jack says they may lose in matches but not in fights. This is just the beginning of a whole lot of trips to the hospital. “Rock N’ Roll Express keep this in mind, we are the wrong n****** to mess with.”

Final Thoughts:
The main story here is the Gangstas and Express feud, which continues to feature the Gangstas being very controversial and over the top with their actions. As mentioned, the loss doesn’t impact the Gangstas since they even stated they’d lose a wrestling match, but now it’s going to be fights and I can get behind that premise. Aside from the main event, this was just a nothing happening show, really.
