Arn boots Rhodes in the corner and delivers a few strikes to drop Rhodes to the mat. Arn continues to beat on Rhodes. Meng enters the ring and savant kicks Rhodes leading to the disqualification. After the match, Ricky Steamboat comes running down and spits fire to scare the heels in the ring. Meng doesn’t backdown from Steamboat. Steamboat is standing over Rhodes making sure nobody gets their hands on Rhodes. (**1/2. A fine TV match with the expected finish since the feud has really just started and a clean finish in their first singles showdown wouldn’t make a lot of sense. They worked a good match and Meng’s involvement makes him look really good.)

Final Thoughts:
An enjoyable episode this week. Meng should be a monster heel once they get him in the ring.

Thanks for reading.
