Angle Developments/Notes:
1.) Before the show started, Jim Cornette says that the announcers can’t mention two names that appeared in the main event at Genesis because they hadn’t signed contracts. Cornette hopes to have a contract signing tonight.

2.) TNA World Champion makes his way out to cut a promo. Kurt has Karen, AJ Styles and Tomko with him, as well. Kurt talks about Karen taking care of business like she said she would. Hernandez dives over the top to take Hoyt out with a dive! Rave gets out of the Gringo Killer by Homicide and gets a rollup on Homicide after Christy Hemme caused a distraction and wins the match! After the match, Homicide beats up Rave a little bit. A masked person comes into the ring and hits Hemme with a slapjack. (**1/2. I thought this was a solid tag match. It’s a big win for the Rave & Hoyt tag team. I like the team and think there’s potential to be something good in TNA. Hernandez did very well with his offense in this one, too.)

6.) Backstage, Team 3D cut a promo saying they are done with Crystal the usual interview lady. They have someone tied up and have a sheet over their head. They have stolen the TNA X-Division Championship. Team 3D has a list of demands that they better answer if they want to see their friend. Bubba doesn’t want the letter X in the alphabet anymore. They also don’t want the fans to chant “that was awesome” anymore. The X-Division wrestlers are no longer able to put themselves over on the internet with fake names. They also want 12 cases of Ding Dongs and 10 cases of Yoohoo. The X-Division will turn over all their rats. That was the last demand. Ray says they have less than one hour.

7.) Backstage, Crystal interviews Christian Cage. Cage tells Crystal to shut up and says he hasn’t talked to AJ or Tomko. Cage gave everything he had at Genesis to be the number one contender. Cage claims he’s undefeated, which Crystal questions. Cage says that AJ and Tomko can’t follow directions. Cage blames their distraction for his loss. Cage is also pissed that they would help Angle without asking him first. Cage says that they will perhaps have to answer to him later tonight.

Roode gets in Traci’s face, but Traci shoves Roode. Traci leaves the ring. Traci attacks “the fan” with the Hire Me Robert sign in the front row. Roode seems to like this. (*. I think it’s safe to say that Harris is on the way out of TNA by this point. He just doesn’t seem like the same guy from just earlier in the year.)

9.) Outside, Scott Hall has arrived and says that if Kurt Angle and his crew want to play then Hall and Nash will play, too.

10.) Backstage, Jim Cornette is talking with Matt Morgan. Cornette talks with Crystal and tells Morgan he’s straightening things out tonight. Cornette asks how Morgan went about making matches. Cornette says that Morgan is bailed out because the two people who didn’t sign contracts have agreed to sign deals. Morgan thinks he booked a great match. Cornette doesn’t want to get in trouble and puts Morgan on probation. Lance Hoyt and Jimmy Rave enters the scene and Hoyt is pissed that Hemme got attacked by LAX.

11.) Team 3D come down to the ring with the man with a cover over his head and is tied up. Ray tells the fans to shut their mouth. Ray asks if Sabin and Shelley have met their list of demands. Shelley and Sabin make their way out with Jay Lethal since Team 3D have the TNA X-Division Championship. Sabin says they were listening to their demands and paid extra attention to one demand. That demand is the Ding Dong request. Sabin notes the other things they could have asked for and they settled on Ding Dongs. They could give them Ho-Hos because they have their mothers backstage. Devon whips the masked guy with a belt. It’s revealed as being Havok. Lethal chimes in and wants the X-Division Championship back. Ray says there’s a traitor within the X-Division. Shark Boy, Dutt and Petey Williams attack from behind. Lethal breaks Havok free. Havok grabs a kendo stick on the floor and attacks the X-Division proving to be the traitor. Borash says that it would be co-captain and Styles can work with that.

13.) Kevin Nash and Scott Hall make their way down to the ring. Hall does his usualy “Hey, Yo” and says it still works. Nash says they are going to make this short and sweet. Nash says that at Turning Point it will be Angle, Styles, and Tomko versus Hall, Nash and a partner that they will find out by the end of the program.

The fans chant Booker’s name. Booker thanks the fans from the bottom of his heart. Cornette wants to get the contract signed. Cornette asks Sharmell to sign first and she does. Booker also signs the contract. Cornette asks what Booker’s plans and goals are.

Christian Cage cuts into the segment. Cage makes his way down to the ring. Cornette is livid, but Cage just wants to say hello to an old friend. Cage has had some personal issues as of late, but couldn’t find Tomko and Styles. Cage wants to take care of it right now and knows that Booker is there to be the World Champion. Cage says this is a different world than Booker is use to. Cage tells Booker there is one king and it’s him. Cage tells Booker he’s the champ and the number one contender. Cage tells Booker to go to the back of the line before Cage sends him there. Booker attacks Cage after he insults Sharmell. Booker rams Cage onto the table face first and Cage bails to the floor. Booker gets on the microphone and says that he just took Cage’s number one contender spot.

Karen Angle gets on the apron and Kurt low blows Kaz followed by the Olympic Slam for a two count. Angle slams Kazarian to the mat and goes to the top rope. Kazarian kicks Angle on the top rope. Kazarian hits the Flux Capacitor off the top, but Angle kicks out at two! Angle knee lifts Kazarian and rolls Kazarian up with his head trapped and wins the match. (***1/2. That was a good match with maybe a lackluster finish, but Kurt winning clean was the right call. Kaz showcased himself well and hopefully this leads to him getting more of a push.)

21.) Kevin Nash and Scott Hall come down to the ring after Kurt Angle returned to the ring to get in Kaz’s face. Kurt isn’t aware of it and Nash pats him on the pat, which Kurt knows isn’t good news. Hall and Nash deck Angle with right hands. Tomko and Styles come down to the ring to make the save for Angle. Samoa Joe runs down to the ring and makes the save. Joe is the mystery partner for Nash and Hall. Joe sends Tomko to the floor. The crowd did not erupt for Joe.

Final Thoughts:
There’s quite a bit going on here. Devine turning on the X-Division wasn’t that big of a deal as I never considered him an X-Division guy. Samoa Joe shockingly got a lackluster reaction, which makes me wonder if the Orlando crowd is tired of Joe/Angle. Booker debuting on Impact was fine, but Christian Cage being the guy to confront him felt like we’re just keeping WWE guys with WWE guys. I would have put a TNA guy in that spot to give him a bigger push. I still thought it was a solid episode overall with a strong main event.
