NCW Owner Steve ‘Chance’ Martin promotes a show taking place on December 4th at the NCW Arena. So, that show has already happen. Anyway, we see footage from Nashville where Colorado Kid defended the North American Championship against WCW executive Terry Taylor and WWF wrestler/commentator Jerry ‘The King’ Lawler. Lawler hit a piledriver on Colorado Kid, but Taylor stole the match by pinning Colorado Kid. Thus, Taylor is the North American Champion. Thus, on December 4th, Terry Taylor defends the title against Colorado Kid.

Terry Taylor provided a pre-tape comment and says it is sweet to be the champion. Taylor talks about the rematch clause. Taylor puts over Lawler as a legend and huge star. Taylor brags about beating two guys in one night. Taylor wonders if Colorado Kid has a chance against him in a singles match. Taylor feels bad for Colorado Kid because he’s done it all in the business and he’ll do it again at Colorado Kid’s expense.

Steve Martin is promoting Taylor vs. Colorado Kid as the match of the century. That’s a bit of an oversell considering Colorado Kid isn’t a regular on NCW TV and Taylor is basically semi-retired at this point.

Opening Contest: Jesse Taylor vs. Mike Nova: Taylor backs Nova into a corner, but cleanly backs off. Taylor is sporting a goatee now, which is new. Taylor shoulder blocks Nova, but runs into a hip toss and an arm drag. Nova keeps control on the mat with an arm bar. Taylor back elbows Nova to the mat. Nova hits a double under hook suplex for a near fall. Nova takes Taylor down to the mat and keeps arm control. Taylor plants Nova with a DDT to stop Nova’s momentum. Taylor delivers a knee drop for a two count. Nova hits a back suplex for a two count. Nova forearms Taylor and connects with another back elbow. Nova eye rakes Nova on the mat. Taylor hits a Samoan Drop as Nova came off the ropes, but Nova gets to the ropes to break the cover at two. Nova superkicks Taylor and taunts the crowd. Nova continues with a spinebuster and taunts the crowd. Nova nails Taylor with a standing sidekick and pins Taylor. (*1/2. That was a shocking outcome. I feel like Taylor is changing his look that it will lead to an attitude change. It was a decent match, but nothing all that exciting.)

NCW United States Champion Romeo Bliss comes out for an interview with Tim Dix. Bliss talks about Terry Knight getting in his business and how Candy didn’t like being used to get the championship. Bliss says that he was going to spank Candy’s naked ass until Terry Knight got involved. Romeo says that he’s spanking the woman’s backside every night. Romeo acts out slapping booty with his belt. Bliss says if Knight has a problem he wants Knight tonight. Terry Knight comes out to confront Bliss and stands on the commentary table. Knight says he’s doing something that nobody else will do. Apparently, he’s called Mr. Unpredictable. Knight says there will be nothing left for any whore in the backstage area.

Backstage, Jeff G. Bailey and K-Krush cut a promo on AJ Styles. Bailey says that Thunder would have destroyed Styles if he had any guts. Bailey notes that Crowbar would have gotten the job done. Bailey warns Steve Martin to stay out of his business and controlling NCW is his business. Bailey asks if Martin wants Crowbar to choke him out. Bailey threatens to choke Martin himself if he gets involved in his business.

Second Contest: NCW United States Champion Romeo Bliss vs. Terry Knight: The match is joined in progress. Knight headbutts Bliss, but Bliss drops Knight with a neckbreaker for a two count. Bliss keeps a chin lock on Knight, but doesn’t get a submission. Bliss gets a rollup, but Knight kicks out at two. Knight pummels Bliss with a few strikes and rams Bliss into the corner head first. Bliss sends Knight into the corner back first and signals for a piledriver. Knight counters with a backdrop. Knight elbow strikes Bliss a few times. Knight punches out of a powerbomb, but Bliss drops Knight throat first over the top rope. Knight plants Bliss with a powerbomb. Candy comes out to ringside to watch the match. Knight hits a running heel kick. Bliss locks in a sleeper hold, but sees Candy at ringside. Bliss confronts Candy at ringside, and ends up being counted out. After the match, Knight hip tosses Bliss and dropkicks Bliss to the floor. Candy embraces Knight. (1/2*. The finish is lackluster. I’m sensing Candy is going to turn on Knight at some point and reveal she was with Bliss the whole time. The whole Candy turn felt out of place and random to begin with.)

Backstage, NCW Tag Team Champions Bad Attitude are interviewed. David Young says that they are the best tag team in the world today. Young notes that the Road Hoggs made them look stupid last week with the straps. They are going to prove they are the best team going today. Rick Michaels chimes in and says Road Hoggs aren’t going to get lucky tonight. Michaels promises they will see to their demise.

Prior to the next match, Rick Michaels grabs a microphone and puts over himself and David Young. Michaels says that they aren’t jobbers for anybody. Michaels promises Road Hoggs got lucky last time and they are walking out with all their titles. Young cuts a promo saying that the fans are all brother and sister whether they are dating or not. The crowd erupts for that. Michaels tells Steve Martin to suck it because they aren’t jobbers for anybody.

Main Event: NCW Tag Team Champion Bad Attitude (Rick Michaels & David Young) vs. Road Hoggs (Joe Harley & Pan Head Nelson): Michaels ducks a clothesline, but Nelson hits a clothesline and a backdrop. Nelson jabs Michaels several times and atomic drops Michaels into Young knocking the champs to the floor. Young enters the match as does Harley. Harley controls Young with a headlock and a shoulder block to knock Young to the mat. Harley knocks Young to the mat again. Harley arm drags Young and keeps arm control. Harley elbows Young coming off the ropes and locks in a chin lock. Harley boot scrapes Young and continues with a scoop slam. Harley delivers an elbow drop and covers Young for a two count. Michaels tags into the match and tries his luck against Nelson. Nelson takes Michaels down and delivers a headbutt to the arm. Michaels kicks Nelson in the midsection and delivers a few strikes. Michaels comes off the ropes with a forearm strike and knee drop. Michaels covers for a two count. Michaels drop toe holds Nelson and Young connects with a leg drop for a two count.

Young tosses Nelson through the ropes to the floor. The referee is distracted in the ring while Michaels attacks Nelson on the floor. Michaels rolls Nelson back into the ring and Young chokes Nelson with his boot. Young dropkicks Nelson coming off the ropes. Young hits a top rope moonsault and chokes Nelson. The show goes to commercial as Michaels stood on the middle rope.

Michaels tags in Young and they hit a double backdrop on Nelson. Young keeps control choking Nelson on the mat. Young works over Nelson in the corner with more strikes. Nelson runs into a double back elbow. Michaels delivers a leg drop onto Nelson and tries for a cover managing a two count. Young tags into the match and kicks Nelson into the corner. Young eye rakes Nelson, but misses a splash in the corner. Michaels tags in to stop Nelson from tagging out. Nelson doesn’t fade out on a sleeper attempt by Michaels. Nelson fights back with a few jabs to stagger Michaels. Nelson hits a swinging neckbreaker and tags in Harley. Harley pummels Young, but Michaels dumps Harley to the floor. Michaels drops Nelson with a clothesline. Michaels grabs a title as Harley and Young brawl on the floor. Michaels decks Nelson with a tag title. Young sends Harley into the ring post, but Nelson kicks out at two. Michaels almost hits Young with a title, but they are sent into each other. Nelson gets an inside cradle on Michaels and wins the tag titles! (**1/2. i enjoyed that tag match and I’m a fan of the Road Hoggs. I like their style and presentation. Bad Attitude is a great team and they are probably two of the best heels in the company next to Jeff G. Bailey. I was expecting a Dusty finish, but the titles remain changed and it’s an unexpected title change. So, that’s pretty cool.)

Bad Attitude have a temper tantrum on the floor while the Road Hoggs celebrate their title win in the crowd.

Backstage, Steve Martin interviews Jesse Taylor. Taylor says he has had a lot on his mind, but he’ll be back.

Backstage, Steve Martin interviews JC Dazz, who has a $5,000 bounty courtesy of Al Getz. Dazz says he doesn’t need anyone to watch his back. Dazz says that Scottie Wrenn is going to need more than a new gimmick to take him out. Dazz promises that Wrenn will go down when they meet.

Backstage, Bad Attitude are freaking out. Rick Michaels says that Martin and Behrens are mad that he’s not the babyface to save their company. Michaels uses a chair to smash the Georgia Championship. Michaels promises that they will get their tag titles back and that NCW can kiss their ass.

Final Thoughts:
A solid episode of TV with a tag title change and an upset win to start the program. Each segment served a purpose and there wasn’t a boring segment on the show.
