That went a bit longer than I thought it was going to go, but it was a fine match. I wish there were names for the Heartbreakers, but that may be a sign that they aren’t are a regular duo for the company.)

Terry Taylor tells Colorado Kid that he’s done with him and doesn’t want anything to do with him. Taylor slaps Rapada’s kid and tells his son to move. Taylor HITS THE CHILD WITH THE CHAMPIONSHIP. Bill Behrens comes out and confronts Taylor. (**1/2. Okay, what the hell. First off, they got a bunch of time and I thought they made overall good use of it. Secondly, I was not expecting Taylor to actually hit a child with the championship. The kid is no more than 8-years old. Here’s the thing, I love it. It’s so unexpected and this instantly makes Taylor a top heel even if he’s not a regular in Wildside. Holy shit, i was not expecting that at all. Now, I need to see a Rapada/Taylor rematch. That’s a good segment and good build.)

Silky Boom Boom comes out to cut a promo. Silky says this is his Boom-Boom room. Silky had to kill off Dusty Dotson last time he was here. Silky killed off two other gimmicks which was Mark Phor Michaels, but now he’s Marky Mark. Mark comes out with dyed hair. There’s a brawl on ringside between Bad Attitude, Big Eddie Cool and Joe Harley. Michaels hits Nelson with a championship. Michaels plants Marky Mark with a DDT. Michaels puts Mark on top and Mark pins Nelson to win the tag titles. (NR. Well, it’s not much of a match. Clearly, Bad Attitude wants the easier match thus the Underdogs winning the titles. I’m kind of disappointed that the Road Hoggs didn’t get a decent run with the titles, but this is going to be a three team feud, which could be fun.)

Backstage, NWA North American Champion Terry Taylor pretends to be ashamed of himself for striking Colorado Kid’s child with the championship. Taylor calls the kid a little brat. Taylor has a present for Christmas where he wants Colorado Kid to bring his kid to their match. Taylor says he does whatever he wants and isn’t going to be politically correct. Taylor says he has kids and whacks them around. Taylor says if he’d do that to his kid imagine what he’ll do to Colorado Kid.

Final Thoughts:
I enjoyed the show and I am still stunned by Terry Taylor hitting a child with a championship belt. I can’t get over that. I can’t believe they’d do that, and I’m invested to see if there’s a followup on it. I hope there is.
