Trent rolls into the ring first, but then can’t move out of the way despite PAC taking a bit to hit the Black Arrow off the top. Plus, the referee seemingly messing up the count didn’t help matters. Anyway, it’s a decent start to the show with a hot crowd. I feel like I liked this better watching it live than I did reviewing it years later.)

A good match, but it felt like Dark Order was destined to win this match. They seemed to be one step ahead, but then Private Party barely squeezed out the win. I was probably most entertained by Dark Order with their double team moves. When it was announced the winner would be in a three way at Full Gear, I fully expected Dark Order to win. Private Party winning doesn’t bug me as I think they should be used in the tag title scene anyway.)

A solid tag match. I like Sakura getting the win on Riho just a few days before their title match. It provides doubt that Riho can retain. All four women were impressive and provided some hard hitting action. There wasn’t a lull to the match. AEW has a strong women’s division and they are putting on good matches on a regular basis.)

She’s only there because she’s married to Cody and she’s just another pretty face. Brandi says calling her stupid doesn’t make it so. Brandi knows dreams and nightmares. PAC runs out and low blows Page on the apron as the referee was distracted. Jericho nails Page with the Judas Effect and pins Page for the win. (***. A fine main event. The heels winning works and the involvement with PAC adds some extra heat for PAC/Page at the PPV. I’m glad there was a finish to the match and it wasn’t a DQ.)

Off air, AEW World Champion Chris Jericho grabs a microphone, but feed cuts off and it’s not known what Jericho said.

Final Thoughts:
I feel like typically when a babyface says they will never challenge for a title if they lose or they will leave a promotion if they lose likely means they are going to win the title. I can’t imagine Cody never challenging for the AEW World Championship ever again. That presents a limitation to the character that doesn’t seem to be necessary, at all. For a go-home show it was a decent showing, but there wasn’t anything that was major in terms of last minute hype for Full Gear. Full Gear itself has a good card and this show didn’t need to do much of anything to get extra hype for the event. Looking forward to Full Gear.
