Jackson manages to slam Mattick, but Crow uppercuts Jackson and hits a standing Slice Bread. Stone plants Crow with a Rock Bottom for the win. (**. Man, the commentary team for this match were brutal. They didn’t know the names of the guys and it almost felt as if they weren’t paying attention to the action. Ting was a bit sloppy throughout the match, which isn’t normally the case. It kind of was a mess, but it wasn’t horrible. It could have been cleaner and paced better.)

Marie manages to hit a middle rope German suplex, and stayed in a tree of woe! Marie hits a top rope spear for the win! (***. I enjoyed that quite a bit. I’m not very familiar with either woman, but that was a fun match. Marie showed some fun offense and the closing sequence was very good. Marie could be someone to keep an eye on.) After the match, Ivelisse calls out for a match with Christina Marie.

Johl is caught in the corner and Maclin drops Johl in the corner out of a tree of woe. Maclin spikes Johl with a DDT to win the match. (**1/4. If I didn’t know that Maclin was the TNA wrestler out of the two, I would have thought Johl would be the bigger star. Johl looked good in there and his offense kept me interested. Maclin is mostly boring when he’s in control and his offense was rather boring for the most part. Considering Maclin has a PPV showing shortly after this show, it shouldn’t be a surprise that he went over. That’s the one negative about TNA guys is they tend to go over.)

Holiday takes Shayne out with a suicide dive to the floor. Derek plants Chip with a stunner and wins the match. (**. While Derek is being presented as a non-wrestler, he’s a seasoned wrestler so don’t be fooled by it. Using the stunner tends to be for non-wrestlers or managers, so I guess it fits for what they tried to present. The crowd seemed to enjoy the action. It wasn’t bad by any means and was a solid match to have after intermission. It’s a little weird to see Father Derek presented as a babyface.) After the match, Holiday says that Shayne has potential and the fans respect him. Holiday wants to put their issues under the bridge and shake hands. Shayne low blows Holiday and Chip decks Derek. Shayne spikes Holiday with a piledriver. Shayne challenges Holiday to a loser leaves Immortal in August. Holiday accepts.

Big man vs. big man matches can be difficult to pull off and this one was a bit lackluster. It didn’t connect with me. Sawyer works a lot better with smaller opponents. Richter didn’t do anything overly impressive to standout at all.)
There is a confrontation between Pat Sawyer and Sebastian Braun on the aisle.

Ocean heads to the top rope hitting a diving headbutt on Valor, but Braun prevents the cover. Braun plants Ocean with a chokeslam. Braun signals for a lariat and nails Ocean with a discus lariat. Valor dumps Braun to the floor and covers Ocean for the win. (*. This is a bad triple threat match. Ocean looked like a fool for being laid out for a decent amount of time before they got to the pin fall. Valor isn’t a bad worker, so I’ll give the title reign a chance. But, this felt a bit disorganized and sloppy overall.)

Skyros locks in a Sharpshooter, but Suzuki doesn’t give in and reaches the ropes. Skyros leaps off the middle rope, but Suzuki avoids it. Suzuki puts a choke sleeper on Skyros. Suzuki switches looking for a cradle piledriver and pins Skyros. (*1/2. I’m not entirely sure how any of this helps Skyros. Suzuki sold very little and it made Skyros look like a chump a little bit. Skyros barely had any moments of shine and there was never a time when Skyros had any hope of winning the match. I guess they can brag about Skyros being in the ring with a legend, but the outing wasn’t good. Skyros keeps on being promoted as the future of Upstate NY wrestling and it doesn’t translate with performances such as this. He was put in a tough situation and not getting shine with Suzuki is a bit disappointing.)
Final Thoughts:
A disappointing show overall by Immortal this time around. Marie/Everett was match of the night, and a surprising one at that. Aside from that, there’s not much here. Suzuki/Skyros kind of went as I expected it to, but I was hopeful for a better showing from Skyros than what they went with here. Jora was fun in his match and Moore stood out even in a losing effort. Charlie Goldberg, one of the commentators, is one of the worst commentators and talks over his partners way too much. Recommended to avoid.
Thanks for reading.
