Angle Developments/Notes:
1.) Backstage, Steve Corino doesn’t apologize for cheating to defeat New Jack, Dusty Rhodes, Tajiri and Tommy Dreamer in recent months. Corino wrestles Scotty Anton tonight and says that he guarantees a pin fall victory over Anton, which he won’t apologize for either. Corino is going to take Anton out tonight.

2.) Backstage, Cyrus and Scotty Anton cut a promo in the bathroom. Cyrus is determined to make Corino pay for not being grateful for them making Corino a star. Cyrus is going watch Anton take Corino apart tonight. Anton chimes in and says he’s in a foul mood tonight. Anton is prepared to give everyone the Clap tonight. Anton is going to put his hold on Corino in the middle of the ring. Anton says that if he doesn’t accomplish that then he’ll quit the company and go back to WCW. Cyrus thinks that’s an extreme response. Anton makes another joke about the Clap and the lights go off and on as they clap out of the room. Jasmine St. Claire and Blue Meanie exit a stall where St. Claire was apparently performing oral on Meanie. They go back to the stall to continue it.

Diamond puts Swinger in the position to win the pose down. Swinger does his pose and acts like he pinched a nerve in his neck. Doring does a pose as well, but realistically isn’t anywhere near Swinger. Wait, Dreamer wants to do the pose down, but then Roadkill wants to try his luck. The crowd responds well for Roadkill and I guess Roadkill won it until CW whacks Roadkill over the back with a chair shot.

Doring goes to the top and hits a leg drop on Diamond while Roadkill had a wheelbarrow and that’s good enough for the win. (***. A solid match showcasing both teams. I wasn’t big on the pose down portion of the match, but I’m not going to subtract from the match. I’m not surprised that the faces won the match, but this seemed like a good time to give more momentum to CW, Diamond and Swinger.)

4.) Backstage, Francine cuts a promo with Credible and Rhino. Francine says she has a broken nose and two black eyes, but she still goes into the ring to take a beating. Corino superkicks Anton for the three count. (*1/2. Corino has connected with the fans as a babyface and I like the change for him. I’m not sure what I was expecting here, but it wasn’t all that bad, really. I’m thinking this may be the last time we see Anton on TV since his promo made it seemed like his days were numbered if he lost. I think I’m interested in a Corino vs. Credible title showdown.)

This is an example of how fun Psychosis can be and it’s a shame that WCW constantly under valued him. Psychosis fits in really well with ECW and there’s a bunch of guys he could have some stellar matches if he sticks around.)
