Rick Michaels of Bad Attitude is in the ring to start the show. Rick has had people take down the NCW banner that is seen on camera. Michaels has Bill Behrens in the ring, as well. Michaels tells Behrens that he’s not going to take over the company with Bert Prentice. Michaels tells Behrens that this is his town and Behrens isn’t taking it over. Michaels says the fans are his people and this is his arena. Michaels tells Chance Martin to get in the ring, too. Chance enters the ring to join the segment. Michaels puts over Chance for starting the company a year ago and how Chance got with Behrens to syndicate the show everywhere. Michaels knows that Behrens is trying to takeover. Michaels heard all the horrible promos by New South and notes they never mentioned Bad Attitude as tag champs. Michaels is confident that they’d beat New South in the middle of the ring. Michaels wants New South to return at Hardcore Hell in April. Michaels says if they win the match in April then the NCW banner gets back on the wall and they keep syndication. Michaels also doesn’t want Bert Prentice to have anything with the company. Michaels says that Chance is his best friend and he’s not going to let Chance get ran over by Behrens. Behrens gets cutoff by Michaels, who continues to say that New South better show up. Behrens says that he’s sure New South would be glad to kick Michaels butt. Behrens mentions PG-13 or Rock n Roll Express would be suitable replacements if New South can’t appear. Michaels tells Behrens that he represents NCW and leaves the ring. Chance didn’t say a word in the corner. There doesn’t appear to be an issue between Behrens and Chance, though.

Shank drives Wrenn down with a pedigree. Shank climbs to the top rope, but JC Dazz comes out and attacks Getz. Shank hits a top rope splash and pins Wrenn cleanly. After the match, Dazz tosses Wrenn to the floor. Dazz offers hsi hand to Shank and they embrace. (**. The fans enjoy Shank, and he does have personality so I can see how he’s connected with the crowd. I’m surprised Wrenn’s undefeated streak as a singles wrestler came to an end here. I’m wondering if there’s a potential plan to push Shank with such a victory.)

Chance Williams is in the ring to cut a promo. Chance mentions Matt Hardy wearing an NCW t-shirt and knows that Hardy hasn’t forgotten where he came from. Chance introduces the Rookie of the Year for NCW, and it’s AJ Styles. Styles thanks the fans for their support. Styles doesn’t want to wrestle for anyone other than NCW. Jeff G. Bailey enters the ring and suggests that Chance and Styles use cocaine. Bailey claims that Chance has pushed Styles down the fans throats. Bailey claims that Styles only beat WWF Superstar K-Krush because of Jorge Estrada helping. Bailey says that K-Krush has gone to Memphis to make some money since NCW has plenty of empty seats. Bailey wants the NCW Television Championship since it’s his property. Bailey doesn’t think Styles deserves the award for being the Rookie of the Year. Bailey would give the award to a guy like Onyx. Bailey tells Styles that he’ll be laying in a hospital soon. Bailey says that Thunder didn’t want to accept the Heavyweight Championship and ran off like a coward. Bailey says tonight is the first step to him controlling NCW or NWA.

Backstage, Ruckus is about to cut a promo, but Jeff G. Bailey cuts into the scene saying they need to talk.

Third Contest: Mega Rumble for the NWA Wildside Championship: Razor and Silky Boom Boom start off the match with a new entrant entering every minute. Razor is new to NCW and hammers away on Boom Boom for a few moments. Boom Boom hits a bulldog on Razor. Rowdy slides into the ring and is tag partners with Razor to double team Boom Boom. Skinny Kenny is the next entrant and works over Ruckus in the corner. The show goes to commercial.

John Arnhart is in the ring now to help work over Ruckus. Ruckus is met with a double clothesline. Shasta McNasty is the next entrant and works over Ruckus. McNasty splashes Ruckus in the corner. Ruckus is being triple teamed essentially. Ruckus fights back with forearm strikes. Onyx slides into the ring as the next entrant. Onyx splashes McNasty in the corner. Ruckus has a stop sign and Lawler is hit from behind and falls over the top to the floor. Ruckus wins the NCW Heavyweight Championship. (NR. Honestly, I’m not sure why I recapped this in full. There was a lot of new wrestlers that I’ve never seen on TV before. Ruckus winning is the right call.)

Jeff G. Bailey enters the ring to talk to Ruckus. Bailey says that Ruckus is his man and asks for the NCW Heavyweight Championship. Bailey has an envelope and Ruckus accepts the envelope and hands the belt over Bailey. Bailey is thrilled to be in control of the championship. Ruckus and Bailey embrace on the floor. Ruckus sold out and turned heel.

Main Event: The New South (Kory Williams & Ashley Hudson) vs. Jamie Howard & Jeremy Lopez: Williams drives Lopex to the mat face first as the match is joined in progress. New South cuts a promo saying that Ric Flair doesn’t have the balls to show up because the fans were chanting for Rick, but it was for Rick Michaels, obviously. Bad Attitude make their way down to ringside as the show goes to commercial. Kory Williams says it’s nice for the toothless fans to support a dead company in NCW. Williams realizes it was Rick Michaels the fans were chanting for. Williams says Rick Michaels chose the wrong two guys to cut a promo. They are tired of kicking David Young’s ass dating back to Nashville where Young claimed to be a Sex Pistol. Kory considers Steve Keirn and Bobby Eaton the true Bad Attitude. Williams promises they’ll never wrestle again if they mess with them. Ashley Hudson chimes in and says the fans are chanting for New South already. Hudson says one female fan had to leave the arena because they are so sexy. Young cuts a promo about Kory laying down for every wrestler in Nashville and considers New South to be both over the hill. Young says if they can’t get alone, they gotta get it on. Young continues to talk, but the show abruptly ended.

Final Thoughts:
New South entering the area will be a good addition to the tag team and I think a feud with Bad Attitude will lead to an entertaining match that is scheduled to take place in April. I’m very conflicted about Ruckus turning heel. I understand he’s all about money, but he was really the only top babyface for the company. It essentially leaves AJ Styles as the only top babyface for the company.. though we can’t forget about Stone Mountain. That’s got to be the direction they are going in. Ruckus vs. Stone Mountain? I could be interested in that.
