Joe is going to make it simple. Joe wants to throw out the referee and rules. Joe wants Booker T inside the six sides of steel. Booker T makes his way out to join the segment. Sharmell is with Booker. Booker can’t believe Samoa Joe and says he was minding his own business backstage with his lovely wife. Booker was sipping on the best champagne drinks because he only drinks the best. Booker insults Joe by saying he has fat gums yapping about him. Booker says his father told him that when a man does something like scaring a woman it’s a sign of weakness. Booker wants to introduce weapons into the cage match and essentially suggests a weapons cage match. Booker will have a contract with him later on in the night and asks if Joe will be ready to sign it. Booker tells Joe to be afraid of the dark.

Cage chimes in and says if Sting is there he’ll be the first person to go through a table. Cage reminds Styles that Team 3D tried to break Rhino’s neck and put him through a glass table. Cage says this is about who will end whose career first. Rhino tells Styles to not get sucked in.

After the match, Devine attacks Creed. Rave sends Creed into a big boot from Lance Rock. Devine grabs a chair, but Abyss makes his way out and makes the save. Abyss punches the chair into Devine’s face. Rave tries for a crossbody, but is met with a chokeslam. Abyss plants Rock with the Black Hole Slam. Abyss throws the chair away. (**. It was a fine for what it was. Creed has some good talent and clearly has a personality/charisma. There should be no reason that Creed doesn’t breakout in the X-Division.)

4.) Backstage, Jeremy Borash is laying on a table with Team 3D and Kurt Angle. Brother Ray says Borash has a pretty mouth as Devon is petting Borash. Ray tells Borash they are ready for a tables match tonight. Ray says there is no Santa, OJ is innocent and promises that Sting is now a scumbag. Ray says if scumbag was an Olympic sport then Angle would win all the awards. Devon tells Borash he’s not a liar and tells Borash they tried to make things easier. Devon says that Sting will shock the world tonight. Angle says there’s no pleasing the fans and Sting finally realizes that. Angle says there are no heroes in the world and only bad guys like himself and Team 3D. Angle is going to ask AJ if it was worth being in bed with his wife tonight when he grabs AJ’s bloody body.

5.) A video package promoting Kaz is shown. The focus is on Kaz winning at Genesis 2007, but losing to Kurt Angle on Impact. Kaz winning at Sacrifice is mentioned where he won a title match for the X-Division Title and wrestling in the main event at Sacrifice where he lost. Kaz lost at Slammiversary against Petey Williams. Kaz had another shot at Victory Road for the World Cup, but Kaz lost the finals. Where will Kaz go from here? Will Kaz get a shot at redemption or will he lose his path towards redemptio?

Kaz moved to Mass and trained with Killer Kowalaski. Kaz owes his success to Killer. Kaz was influenced by Bret Hart, his favorite wrestler because he was a smaller wrestler. Kaz says TNA in the early days were crazy because nobody thought they’d last more than a few weeks. Karen mentions Kaz leaving in 2005. Kaz realized the ugliness in the business and politics. Kaz hates that aspect and lost his passion for the business. Part two will air next week.

7.) Morgan backs Chavis into a corner and tosses Chavis with a hip toss. Morgan tosses Chavis across the ring again. Morgan drops Chavis with a headbutt. Morgan chokes Chavis over the top rope. Morgan splashes Chavis over the top rope and goes to the floor. Morgan leg drops Chavis on the apron. Morgan boots Chavis over the apron and returns to the ring. Chavis eye rakes Morgan and delivers a few body strikes. Chavis runs into a big boot. Morgan splashes Chavis in the corner and signals for a suplex. Morgan drives Chavis with the Hellevator for the win. (*. Morgan is getting a push likely because of his appearance on American Gladiators that was mentioned on commentary. Morgan still doesn’t do much for me.)

8.) Backstage, Lauren is with the Motor City Machine Guns for an interview. Sabin tells Lauren that Beer Money has lack of self awareness. Sabin says that they are a dumb chubby cowboy and a stock market prick with a ponytail and not tough guys as they think they are. Sabin asks if Shelley would bang Jackie, but they wouldn’t do it in front of the locker room. Sabin says they are the future of pro wrestling while Beer Money is a name for a made for DVD film. Shark Boy wants a catchphrase, but Curry doesn’t want to use the fish catchphrase. Super Eric says they need something memorable that the citizens will remember. Jackie Moore gets involved, but is flipped into the middle of the spot. Jackie distracts the referee allowing Storm to send Shelley into the referee and hits a backstabber. Storm punches Sabin with handcuffs and Roode pins Sabin for the win. After the match, Storm superkicks Shelley. Beer Money whips Shelley in the corner until TNA Tag Team Champions LAX make the save. (**. A strap match tends to be a bit restrictive and it limited what they could pull off here. Beer Money cheating to win isn’t a surprise, but this was far more Guns controlling that I was expecting.)

12.) Wilde rolls Sky up from behind as Sky was talking to Angelina Love and quickly gets a three count. It is noted that it’s an Impact Zone record of five seconds. Velvet Sky claims she wasn’t ready and didn’t hear the bell ring. Sky doesn’t think Wilde would do it again and dares Wilde. Sky taunts Wilde into getting into the ring again. Sky stomps Wilde on the mat and tries for a cover managing a one count. Sky forearms Wilde, but Wilde runs the ropes and pins Sky again with an inside cradle. Wilde won two straight falls in twenty-five seconds, which is another Impact Zone record. Sky has a temper tantrum. Angelina Love gets the microphone and says that was bull crap. Love believes they should be Knockouts Champion and not Wilde. Love doesn’t know who Wilde is dating to get all this special treatment. Love puts $5k of her own money to get Wilde into the ring. Love grabs the brown paper bag and puts it over Wilde’s head. ODB and Gail Kim run into the ring and brawl with the Beautiful People to make the save. (*1/2. Wilde is good and brings a freshness to the division that is welcomed. Sky losing two quick falls and then losing by DQ doesn’t bother me as it’s an old school heel angle. I hope there’s not a Wilde vs. Sky match for PPV, though.)

13.) A video package promoting Sheik Abdul Bashir is shown. Bashir recalls not having the same opportunity as others, but he’s earned what he has. Bashir is formerly Daivari in WWE. Bashir asks what we see when we see Bashir, and asks if they see an American or should he be patted down. Bashir believes he’s more American than the viewer.

14.) Earlier today, So Cal Val went to the hospital to check on an injured Sonjay Dutt. Val says they are all worried about Dutt and she feels horrible. Dutt recalls being hit by Lethal with a chair. Dutt has a ring and sniffs the ring.

Angle smashes Cage with a chair shot and nails Rhino over the head with a chair shot as the show goes to commercial.

Ray is sent into Angle in the corner and sent to the floor. Cage plants Angle with a reverse DDT. Cage goes to the floor and grabs a table. Angle tries for an Angle Slam, but Cage counters and puts Angle on the table. Cage heads to the top rope, but Devon stops Cage. Angle distracts the referee as Team 3D put Cage through the table with a 3D.

Angle clubs Styles over the back and stomps Styles on the mat. Styles double clotheslines Ray and Angle followed by a Pele kick to Ray. Styles goes to the floor and slides a table into the ring. Styles sets the table up in the ring as Ray begs off in the corner. Johnny Devine accidentally throws powder into Ray’s face. Ray powerbombs Devine through the table. Styles dropkicks Ray from behind to the floor. Styles sends Angle into Ray and Ray falls off the apron through a table on the floor. The referee is knocked down and Styles plants Angle with a reverse DDT. Styles slides a table into the ring and lays Angle onto the table. Styles heads to the top, but Frank Trigg hits Styles with a kendo stick. Angle takes advantage and puts Styles through the table with an Angle Slam for the win. (***. A good match with some fun brawling. Frank Trigg involvement is annoying and I have no interest in a Trigg/Styles feud that seems to be building to.)

16.) Booker T makes his way out to present a contract for Hard Justice. TNA World Champion Samoa Joe also makes his way down to the ring with Kevin Nash by his side. Booker has his wife and sees Joe brought… Nash looks at Booker to stop that comment. Booker has the contract for a weapons cage match. The crowd is calling Booker a pussy. Booker doesn’t believe Joe can beat him and notes the contract has a few stipulations. Booker has added a few instruments to the party that include tables, ladders, chairs and anything else to mess Joe up. Booker is going to sign the contract, but wants Joe to tell Nash to leave the ring. Joe tells Booker to look at him when he’s talking and calls Booker a punk. Joe will send Nash to the back, but Booker needs to send Sharmell to the back, as well. Booker asks if Joe is scared of his wife. Booker gives Sharmell a kiss before she departs the ring. Joe makes a joke that he’s heard Booker’s wife isn’t a good kisser. Booker signs the contract and hands it over to Joe.

The lights go out and Sting’s music hits. Samoa Joe is laid out on the mat and Booker is standing over Joe pointing a baseball bat at Joe. Booker is looking up at the rafters as the show comes to an end.

Final Thoughts:
I’m not sure what the point of Sting getting involved in Booker/Sting is accomplishing. It feels as if they don’t have a plan for Sting and decided to put him in the main event scene as we heard towards Hard Justice, but this likely applies more so for their plans heading into Bound For Glory. A decent overall episode with better in-ring wrestling than recent weeks.
