Angle Developments/Notes:
1.) Bulldog’s wife Diane shared pre-tape comments during Bulldog’s match. She knows how much Bulldog wants the title and how much Bret Hart wants to retain the title. Diane is afraid that the match at SummerSlam is going to tear the family apart.
2.) WWF Update is hosted by Lord Alfred Hayes. Hayes brings up the interview from last week between WWF World Champion Randy Savage and Ultimate Warrior on Superstars. Footage from the interview segment are shown. Ric Flair and Mr. Perfect made their presence known during the segment and insulted both Savage and Warrior. Savage stormed the ring and attacked Flair. Perfect took his belt off to choke Savage. Warrior eventually runs down to the ring to make the save and sends the heels reeling to the floor.
3.) A vignette promoting new wrestler Razor Ramon is shown. Ramon says that he’s not living in the past since nobody cares where you come from. People only care about where you’re going. Ramon believes he’s going to the very top in the WWF. Ramon calls out Undertaker, Ultimate Warrior, and Randy Savage. Ramon wants all the heroes and he’ll knock them down like a stack of dominos.
4.) Mean Gene conducted an interview with Nailz on the podium. Gene tells Nailz that the Big Bossman is back and that Nailz didn’t take Bossman out. Nailz is glad that Bossman is coming back to the WWF. Nailz is glad to give Bossman another beating. Nailz took everything away from Bossman last time including his pride, dignity and nightstick. Nailz tells Bossman to get ready for his next beating because this time he’s finishing the job. Gene announces that Nailz is wrestling at SummerSlam against Virgil. Nailz knows that Virgil is a friend of the Bossman. Nailz says there’s an unwritten rule in prison where nobody sticks their nose in someone else’s business. Nailz says that Virgil sticks his nose in his business for the last time at SummerSlam. Nobody will be able to help Virgil at SummerSlam and nobody will be able to recognize Virgil.
5.) Next week, Big Bossman returns. Razor Ramon makes his debut. Nasty Boys in tag action against the Bushwhackers.
Final Thoughts:
Not too much going on this week. It looks like next weeks episode has a lot going on. It shouldn’t be a surprise since this episode is the final one of the taping in Binghamton. Despite the lack of new developments, these shows are easy to get through and enjoy.
