3.) Tatanka defeated The Brooklyn Brawler
4.) Razor Ramon defeated Glen Ruth
5.) Tito Santana defeated Kamala by count-out
6.) Money Inc. defeated Mike Bell & Tony Perez

Angle Developments/Notes:
1.) Gorilla Monsoon and Bobby Heenan host the show with Heenan wanting to be elected for President. Monsoon calls Heenan a liar, but Heenan tells Monsoon he won’t have a job for him.

2.) Bret Hart shared pre-tape comments during his match. Hart hasn’t gotten this far being afraid of anyone. Hart isn’t scared of Papa Shango’s curses and says the only way Shango can impress him is in the ring and doesn’t think Shango can do it.

3.) WWF Update hosted by Lord Alfred Hayes is up next. Hayes talksa bout the Ultimate Maniacs, Ultimate Warrior and Randy Savage. Several fans shared their thoughts on the partnership and they are all putting over the duo as a tag team that will reach the top. Hayes notes that Razor Ramon will be in action later on and is interested in hearing his thoughts about the new partnership.

4.) Brawler strikes Tatanka, but Tatanka responds with a chop and ducks a clothesline. Tatanka stomps Brawler on the face followed by a hip toss and scoop slam. Brawler bails to the floor to regroup. Brawler shoves Tatanka, but Tatanka responds with a shove and Brawler chops Tatanka. Tatanka isn’t bothered and chops Brawler to the mat. Tatanka sends Brawler shoulder first into the ring post. Tatanka keeps wrist control and strikes Brawler over the shoulder. Tatanka nails Brawler with a chop to the chest. Tatanka overhand chops Brawler and hits a backdrop. Tatanka heads to the top rope hitting an overhand chop. Tatanka hits the End of the Trail for the win. (*. Tatanka squash, simple and effective. Brawler is strictly a jobber, but for some reason I feel obligated to note his matches since he had a small push in the late 80s.)

5.) Razor Ramon shared pre-tape comments during his match. Ramon isn’t impressed by the Ultimate Maniacs. Ramon tells Savage he can’t hide behind Warrior because man to man, Ramon is better than Savage.

6.) Santana avoids Kamala to kickoff the match. Kamala backs Santana into a corner and delivers a strike. Kamala misses a splash and Santana puts a wrist lock on Kamala. Santana ducks a clothesline and strikes Kamala. Santana elbow strikes Kamala over the shoulder. Kamala scoop slams Santana, but misses a splash. Santana shoulder blocks Kamala and only manages to stagger Kamala. Kamala throat thrusts Santana to the mat. Kamala locks in a bearhug in the middle of the ring. Santana fades while in the hold, but powers out and claps free. Kamala strikes Santana over the back, but runs into a boot. Santana strikes Kamala several times followed by a dropkick. Santana dropkicks Kamala a second time and hits a flying forearm smash. Kimchee gets on the apron to distract Santana. Kamala savant kicks Santana and taunts the crowd as Paul Bearer comes out with a casket. Kamala runs the ropes and sees the casket causing him to freak out. Kamala bails from the ring and is counted out of the match as Kamala escapes through the crowd. (*. While it’s not a great match, I’m finding myself being able to watch Tito Santana no matter the case. There’s something about his presentation that I enjoy.)

7.) Money Inc. shared pre-tape comments saying that the WWF Tag Team Champions Natural Disasters cheated them out of the tag titles. IRS says that when you cheat on your taxes you must pay back with interest. Gorilla Monsoon notes that last week Jimmy Hart said that the Nasty Boys were the number one contenders.

8.) Mean Gene conducted a podium interview with WWF Intercontinental Champion The British Bulldog. Gene puts over Bulldog’s match with Bret Hart at SummerSlam as one of the greatest matches he’s ever seen. Bulldog thanks Bret for giving him the opportunity to wrestle for the title. Bulldog thanks his wife, Bret’s sister, for her support. Bulldog thanks all the fans, as well. Bulldog is going to defend the title with honor and dignity to make everyone proud of him.

Final Thoughts:
Ultimate Maniacs certainly feel a lot lesser than the Mega Powers, which isn’t going to help business. With business going down they need a spark and a weaker version of the Mega Powers isn’t going to lift business. It was a fine episode this week and they advanced the key feuds.
