The crowd seemed to be behind Hernandez and I like that someone different was involved in a title match. The aftermath was effective and Brother Ray’s return makes the Frontline stronger as the war with the Mafia continues to heat up.)

4.) Brother Devon has a microphone in the ring. Devon tells Kurt Angle that he’s been involved in tag team wrestling his whole career. They’ve won tag titles everywhere they’ve gone. Governor embraces Roxxi and Wilde on the entrance. Sky and Love freak out over what has happened to them.

9.) Backstage, Lauren is with The Kongtourage. Bolt says Lauren can’t call here Sojo and only her mother can call her that. Sojo says people like Lauren get popped off when looking at them wrong. Sojo insults the three women they are fighting tonight. Sojo says a street fight doesn’t bother them because they are from the street.

Roxxi kicks Khan and gets a backslide for a two count. All six Knockouts are in the ring brawling again. Wilde and Saeed brawl to the floor. Khan tries to chokeslam Roxxi, but Roxxi breaks free and hits the Voodoo Drop for the win. (1/2*. Here’s the thing.. no part of this was a street fight. The referee continued to enforce rules and I truly hate when a gimmick isn’t adhered to at all. I’m not sure what the point of the stipulation was when it was not executed.)

Creed hits another missile dropkick leading to a near fall for Lethal. Morgan catches Creed to hit a fallaway slam. Abyss powerbombs Lethal onto Morgan and Creed dropkicks Abyss leading to Lethal pinning Morgan for the win. (**. I’m glad that Creed and Lethal won here as I have for more interest in them as a tag challenger to Beer Money. Obviously the demise of Morgan and Abyss as a duo is getting closer to happening. It was an average tag match, but the angle advancement is good.) After the match, Morgan shoves Abyss out of frustration. Abyss responds with a strike and they begin to punch each other until security enters the ring to keep them apart. Abyss breaks free and splashes Morgan in the corner. Morgan breaks free to get after Abyss, too.

Styles nails Steiner with the Pele Kick to win the match. (*. It’s safe to say that Steiner probably shouldn’t be in the main event scene at this point. There’s only so much Styles can accomplish.)

18.) AJ Styles embraces Petey Williams as Scott Steiner looks on from the floor confused to see Petey back in TNA. Petey is still sporting the mini Scott Steiner look.

Final Thoughts:
The idea of Team 3D competing in singles matches against Sting and Kurt Angle at Against All Odds is one that I’m not interested in at all. Jarrett being out with an injury angle is buying time for a likely Angle/Jarrett showdown at Lockdown, I’d imagine. There’s nothing coming out of this show that I’m invested in without Jarrett vs. Angle to carry the storytelling.
