Angle Developments/Notes:
1.) Mean Gene interviews Dave Sullivan regarding Bash at the Beach where Sullivan will be wrestling Diamond Dallas Page. Dave says that the rabbit helps him get through his rough times. Dave challenged Page because of what Page did to him and won the arm wrestling match fair and square. Dave isn’t taking it from Page anymore.
2.) Dungeon of Doom segment with the group getting another new addition. Sullivan is looking into the sea and doesn’t understand. Sullivan goes to his father to get an explanation. Father eventually introduces Shark as the newest member. Shark was previously known as Avalanche in WCW. Shark says he is on land now and is hunting Hogan. Shark can’t wait to bite all the Hulkamaniacs. Shark is the biggest man eater alive.
3.) Back to the Dungeon of Doom where Vader meets with Sullivan and Father. Vader says he is now Big Van Vader and possesses greater power than Hogan. Vader is confident that he’ll win the WCW World Championship. So, I guess Vader is part of the Dungeon.
4.) Mean Gene interviews Diamond Dallas Page and Maxx. Maxx is excited about the PPV. Page dismisses being embarrassed by Dave Sullivan and blames Diamond Doll for a distraction. Page says it is all about him and promises that he’ll make Sullivan feel like he got hit by a truck. Page teases Sullivan to bring his rabbit.
5.) Ric Flair shared a pre-tape promo regarding his match with Randy Savage at Bash at the Beach. Flair hypes the match and says that Savage has a problem beating him. Flair recalls taking Savage’s wife in 92 and beating up his father. Flair is coming for Savage at the PPV.
6.) Savage dumps Slazenger to the floor and hits a top rope axe handle to the floor. Savage sends Slazenger into the ring post face first. Savage slams Slazenger and goes to the top rope hitting an elbow drop for the quick win. (NR. Savage didn’t even take his ring gear off. Here I am hoping for a decent match and it’s one of the quickest matches I’ve ever seen. Go figure.)
7.) Tony Schiavone interviews Randy Savage to end the program. Savage says that a blind and deaf man can see and hear. Savage says that the PPV will make Woodstock look like a backyard BBQ. Savage is going to take Flair out and says that Flair can run, but he can’t hide. Savage says that Flair is going to be gonzo.
Final Thoughts:
Some more promotion for the PPV, but it’s a lackluster show overall.
