We see footage from last week where Bad Attitude defeated Boogaloo Crew after Scottie Wrenn was distracted by the NWA Elite. Bad Attitude giving major heel vibes since winning the NWA Tag Team Championships. Total Destruction made the save to runoff the Cole Twins.
Wildside Commissioner Al Getz starts the show and runs down what to see on the program. Getz books Total Destruction against the Cole Twins. Gemini in action against Caprice ‘Ice’ Coleman.
Steven Prazak is in the ring to host a segment. Prazak introduces the former ECW Television Champion Kid Kash to join the segment. Kash makes his way out to join the segment and it’s noted that he started his career in the NCW. Kash says it feels like he’s back home. Kash knows a lot of the guys and knows some of them are tough. Kash gets cutoff by Jeff G. Bailey and Wildside TV Champion Eddie Golden. Golden shakes hands with Kash as Bailey grabs the microphone. Bailey notes that Kash use to call himself David Jericho, but he’s not sure why Kash is here since it’s not ECW. Kash tells Bailey that he has the weekend off and thought he’d visit some old friends. Golden chimes in and sarcastically says he’s glad Kash has the weekend off. Golden asks how many times Kash called him since he got his contract. Golden asks what Kash’s ECW contract covers, but Kash says it doesn’t keep him from anything. Golden slaps Kash and then hides behind Bailey. Referees gets in the ring to keep them apart. Bailey threatens to sue Kash if he puts his hands on Golden. Bailey suggests they have a wrestling match instead. Kash calls Golden a POS, and accepts the challenge for a match tonight. Kash reminds Golden that he always beat Golden in their previous battles.
NOTE: Tim Dix is no longer doing ring announcing. I’m not sure if this is the case moving forward, but it’s something I noticed.
MATCH #1: TOTAL DESTRUCTION (SEAN ROYAL & RUSTY RIDDLE) VS. COLE TWINS
FINISH: Cole Twins take out Total Destruction with sticks. As a result, Total Destruction won by disqualification in a few seconds. Total Destruction are left bloodied.
Bob’s Take: Cole Twins got the advantage from behind with sticks to the back, but the match is thrown out before the match even takes place? This felt a little bit like a bait and switch to promote this match and then do a beatdown, but it will be fine if they have a bigger match on the next supercard in October. The ring announcer announced Total Destruction as the winners at least three times.

Backstage, Total Destruction warns Cole Twins to be prepared to pay with their lives. They are still bloodied and declare that this means nothing to them as they are use to bleeding. October 21st is mentioned as it will be Fright Night and challenge the Cole Twins to a bar room brawl.
In the dark, Shank cuts a promo outside. Shank talks about his way of life being learned behind bars. Shank says his intentions are foggy and sometimes unpredictable. Shank introduces us into his mind and it’s a video package of him in action.
MATCH #2: NWA ELITE (TERRY KNIGHT & ONYX) VS. SHANK & LAZZ
FINISH: Late in the match, the Sheriff’s Department arrives with Jeff G. Bailey and they enter the arena to arrest Lazz and Shank for grand larceny. Shank is livid, but he’s following the directions. Bailey tells Lazz he’s going to be someone’s brag tonight. This match is basically thrown out.
Bob’s Take: Shank and Lazz is oddly a great pairing. Knight and Onyx got the cheap advantage, but it didn’t last too long. Lazz decks Onyx several times as they have been involved in a feud for a decent amount of time now. Onyx accidentally decked Knight on the apron after Lazz moved out of the way. Onyx and Knight drive Lazz to the mat face first, but it was a bit mistimed. Lazz is worked over for a bit by Knight and Onyx. Onyx hit a nice top rope swanton for a near fall at one point. Lazz fought back with a headbut to the lower midsection of Onyx, and stayed there a bit longer, but Onyx fought back quickly with a clothesline and a powerslam. Lazz tossed Onyx with an overhead suplex and Shank got the hot tag. Shank cleans house dropping Onyx face first to the mat. Shank hit a nice twisting superplex on Knight. I wasn’t expecting the police to get involved. Bailey pressing charges on the stealing of the titles is fine, but I also kind of wish that the matches on this show would have some kind of finish. The action was fine for what it was before the angle finish.

MAIN EVENT: WILDSIDE TV CHAMPION EDDIE GOLDEN VS. KID KASH
FINISH: Kash hits the Money Maker, but the NWA Elite run into the ring to attack Kash and cause a disqualification. After the match, Kash fights off the NWA Elite as the Boogaloo Crew and Joe Harley make the save. Kash spikes Onyx with the Money Maker.
Bob’s Take: It’s a bit weird to see in an era that a guy on national TV is allowed to be on local TV, but it’s awesome to see. It can give the vibe that anyone could show up on Wildside TV. Kash has a great in-ring presence and his ability comes across so much better compared to the other acts in Wildside. Kash dives over the top to the floor. Golden elbows Kash in the corner followed by a big boot. Kash battled back with a top rope hurricanrana and a few clotheslines. They trade several pins, but Kash hit the Money Maker leading to the NWA Elite interference finish.

Final Thoughts:
Basically everything on this show as designed to advance angles, and that’s fine. Kash showing up randomly for a match with Golden was a good surprise as I like Kash and especially in 2000 he’s a lot of fun in ECW. I wish the in-ring action had a clean finish, but this is an average overall episode.
