Backstage, Jeff G. Bailey cuts a promo on Total Destruction about claiming they are tough guys who beat up small drunk people in bars. The Cole Twins are monsters who tear people apart and they have sticks covered in Total Destruction’s blood. They will be wrestling Total Destruction in a bar room brawl on October 21st at Fright Night. There’s no ass whippin’ like a Cole ass whippin’.
MATCH #1: WILDSIDE TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS BOOGALOO CREW (WRENN & DAZZ) VS. PLATOON
FINISH: Boogaloo Crew hit their powerbomb/neckbreaker finisher five times on all five members of Platoon to win the match.
Bob’s Take: Boogaloo Crew work over Platoon early on hitting a double team powerbomb/neckbreaker. They hit the move on all three Platoon members. The Platoon members all have names referencing their groins in one way or another. This is just a squash for the Boogaloo Crew as they hit their finisher on all five members of the Platoon. Harmless squash for the champs.

Prior to the next match, Romeo Bliss cuts a promo about Jeff G. Bailey. Romeo notes that Bailey has had a problem with him for a long time. Bliss rocks the house more than anyone and he has the balls to backup his talk himself. Bliss says that Bailey sends someone out to get the ass whippin’ he deserves. Steve Martin comes out with AJ Styles and says he’s offering Bliss the chance to become a member of the NWA Elite and forget the match with Styles. Martin offers to bring Bliss up to the next level and out of the old school. Bliss declines the offer.
MATCH #2: AJ STYLES VS. ROMEO BLISS
FINISH: Styles misses a top rope swanton and Bliss pins Styles for the win.
Bob’s Take: Bliss starts off with strikes and chops to send Styles reeling to the floor. Bliss continues to keep control in the ring causing Styles to leave the ring a second time. Styles gains control with a slam and heads to the top rope hitting a frog splash for a near fall. Bliss decks Styles over the top to the floor. Bliss knocks Styles over the railing into the crowd. Bliss is bleeding from his forehead. Bailey held Bliss from the floor, and allowed Styles to deliver a clothesline. Styles missed the swanton, but the referee looked to make a quick count on Styles. The action was fine here and the clean finish for Bliss is a huge win for him since he hasn’t had a big win like this in a while it feels like.

Backstage, Wildside Tag Team Champions Boogaloo Crew cut a promo. Wrenn shows off Dazz arm that is bruised up and swollen. Wrenn says they bust their ass despite being injured. Wrenn brings up Bad Attitude saying the NWA World Tag Team Championships don’t mean anything to him in the Wildside area. Wrenn warns that Bad Attitude don’t want to piss them off. Wrenn warns them to watch their backs.
Bill Apter’s WOW Magazine segment is next. Apter talks about Hulk Hogan not being on WCW TV and suggests Hogan has heard enough of the fans not appreciating him. Apter often hears how Hogan is old and they are sick of seeing him. Apter doesn’t think it is fair what’s happening to Hogan. Apter notes that he’s friends with Hogan. Apter wants the fans to support Hogan and thank him for what he’s done for the business. Apter plugs his magazine to purchase it at the newsstand. I really don’t know why these segments are on here.
Backstage, Romeo Bliss cuts a promo on Jeff G. Bailey. Bliss has dried blood on his face and doesn’t care why Bailey doesn’t like him. Bliss thinks it could be because he lives the lifestyle that Bailey wants and because he’s so pretty.
Backstage, NWA Elite cut a promo with Steve Martin putting over AJ Styles. Martin warns Bliss that he’s going to wish he accepted his offer. Bailey is upset about the welts on Styles body. Bailey promotes Fright Night and Styles will be wrestling Bliss again. Bailey notes the fast count that absolutely happened. Bailey proclaims that stitches are just going to be the beginning for Bliss at Fright Night. Nobody says no to the NWA Elite because they are like Gods!
MAIN EVENT: AMERICAN MALES (SILKY BOOM-BOOM & ADAM JACOBS) VS. HOT SHOTS (AIR PARIS & CASSIDY O’REILLY)
FINISH: Cassidy O’Reilly pretends to get hit by a chair and tosses the chair to Jacobs causing the referee to award the match to the Hot Shots by disqualification.
Bob’s Take: Jacobs and O’Reilly kicked off the match with Jacobs controlling the match and Paris is dumped to the floor for trying to help out. Boom Boom springboard moonsaults O’Reilly and Jacobs delivered a dropkick to maintain the advantage. O’Reilly gets arm control on Jacobs and hit a falling vertical suplex before Paris got involved. They hit a high elevated backdrop. Paris continued with a sit out suplex. Paris hits a top rope Alabama Jam, but can’t put Jacobs away. O’Reilly almost wins following a split legged moonsault. Jacobs continued to be double teamed by the Hot Shots with a double suplex. Paris hits a nice top rope elbow drop on Jacobs, but can’t put him away. Jacobs struggles to get any sort of momentum going. Paris tosses Jacobs over the top to the floor while the referee was distracted. O’Reilly leg drops Jacobs on the floor. Jacobs sends Paris flipping into the corner, but is met with a superkick quickly. Jacobs continues to be double teamed, but the Hot Shots can’t steal the victory even by cheating. The referee gets knocked out when all four men are brawling in the ring. There’s no referee after the top rope hurricanrana/leg drop combo by the American Males. This is a good tag match, but I’m not a fan of the finish. O’Reilly looks kind of foolish for not just hitting Jacobs with the chair to win the match by cheating. This kind of finish works best for a smart babyface and not cowardly heels, I guess.

Terry Knight and Jeff G. Bailey come out to the ring for the next match, but the show is over as Jesse Taylor makes his entrance.
Final Thoughts:
A decent program this week. The in-ring action was fairly solid throughout the program. There wasn’t a major angle development, but Fright Night is shaping up fairly well with the addition of Bliss/Styles and the bar room brawl encounter.
