MATCH #1: AIR PARIS, JOHN PHOENIX, MARK E. MARK & WILLIAM WEALTH VS. SILKY BOOM BOOM, GEMINI, RICKY NOBLE & ADAM JACOBS — ELIMINATION MATCH
FINISH: Jacobs pins Paris following a top rope leg drop to win the match.
Bob’s Take: Apparently, Air Paris is being presented as a mastermind telling his three partners that he can get them women, gold and fame. Phoenix and Noble started the match trading arm drags. Noble continued with a bulldog out of the corner. Phoenix responded with a low blow and a spin kick to eliminate Noble quickly. Mark and Gemini enter the match with Mark delivering a seated dropkick. Gemini delivers a slingshot suplex and a side slam to eliminate Mark. Wealth enters the match and after a clothesline, Gemini fought back until Paris chop blocks Gemini for another elimination. Boom Boom bulldogs Wealth and knocks the other guys to the floor. Boom Boom eliminates Wealth after a jawbreaker. Phoenix controls Boom Boom for a bit as Paris enters to deliver a double dropkick. Boom Boom continues to be worked over, but refuses to stay down. Boom Boom plants Phoenix with a DDT and spears Paris off the apron. That causes Boom Boom to be counted out. That leaves Adam Jacobs by himself. Phoenix superkicks Jacobs coming off the ropes and Jacobs is met with a double backdrop. Jacobs almost pins Phoenix after a powerbomb. Paris hits a top rope facebuster while Phoenix had Jacobs in a wheelbarrow, but Jacobs still kicks out. Jacobs surprises Phoenix with a rollup as it’s now down to Jacobs and Paris. Paris superkicks Jacobs followed by a spinebuster. Jacobs manages to hit a top rope leg drop on Paris for the win. The early eliminations being quick were a welcomed surprise. Once it got down to Jacobs in a handicap situation the match became more interesting. It’s not a bad start to the show and I’d be interested in seeing Jacobs and Paris be used in bigger roles for Wildside.

MATCH #2: ROMEO BLISS VS. AJ STYLES — LOSER LEAVES WILDSIDE
NOTE: The loser of the match must leave Wildside for at least thirty days.
FINISH: Styles pins Bliss following a top rope leg drop to the back of the head.
Bob’s Take: A bit of a slow start to the match with a mat wrestling focus. Bliss cheap shots Styles with a low blow and almost won with a rollup. They get a bit sloppy in the ring until Styles hits a suplex. It seemed like their pacing was really off there for a moment. Bliss controls the match with hip tosses and a backdrop. Bliss delivers a vertical suplex but can’t keep Styles down. Jeff G. Bailey cheap shots Bliss on the floor. Styles takes Bliss out with a shooting star press to the floor, which impressed the crowd. Bliss drops Styles over the barricade, but Styles is able to send Bliss into the ring post face first. Styles focuses his attack onto Romeo’s knee. Styles hits a top rope frog splash, but can’t keep Bliss down. The continued trend of sloppy wrestling happens as Bliss tried for a rollup and it didn’t look great. Bailey continued to cheap shot Bliss on the floor. Bliss makes a comeback with a neckbreaker, but Styles delivered a Twist of Fate for a near fall. Bliss drops Styles to the floor to gain momentum where Bliss chopped Styles into the crowd. Styles misses a 450 splash off the top. Bliss hit a bulldog off the middle rope, but Styles had his foot on the bottom rope on the pin attempt. Bliss is knocked off the top rope and falls hard to the floor. Styles hits a top rope leg drop for the win, but Bliss had his boot on the bottom rope, which the referee didn’t see. Some of the action was a bit sloppy, but Styles impressed with his high flying offense. The finish is a bit dull, but in thirty days Bliss should be returning to avenge this and the crowd should pop for it.

MATCH #3: WILDSIDE UNITED STATES CHAMPION JESSE TAYLOR VS. WILDSIDE TELEVISION CHAMPION EDDIE GOLDEN
FINISH: Taylor finishes off Golden with a middle rope belly to belly suplex to win the Wildside TV Championship. After the match, Golden chop blocks Taylor and wraps Taylor’s leg around the post. Golden takes both belts despite not belonging to him.
Bob’s Take: They have a basic start with Taylor sending Golden reeling to the floor early on. Taylor kept focus with arm control on Golden in the early stages. Taylor misses a middle rope moonsault. Bailey attacks Taylor on the floor to help out Golden. Golden keeps control with a clothesline. Golden has kept the advantage rather basic until Taylor delivers a neckbreaker for a two count. Taylor almost wins with a belly to belly suplex, but Golden kicks out. That may be the first time someone has kicked out of it, according to commentary. The middle rope belly to belly suplex is a good finish for Taylor, but this match was not good. It’s a mostly dull match aside from the finish.

MATCH #4: WILDSIDE HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION STONE MOUNTAIN VS. TIMBER
FINISH: Mountain plants Timber with a top rope Landslide to retain the title. After the match, Mike Youngblood attacks Timber. Timber attacks Mountain on the floor to end the segment.
Bob’s Take: Stone Mountain is sporting broken ribs. Timber went right after Mountain during Mountain’s entrance. Timber tossed Mountain into the crowd and they brawled for a bit. Timber used a chair in the crowd and the brawling continued to the ringside area. Mountain can’t hit the Landslide because of his ribs. Timber hits a top rope frog splash, but can’t win the title. Timber uses a chair on Mountain several times before hitting a top rope moonsault onto the chair on top of Mountain. Timber got crotched by Mike Youngblood on the top rope leading to the finish. Mountain looks like an absolute star to me. Timber had a few good big spots, but he’s a weak challenger for Mountain.

Prior to the next match, Shank wrote a poem to his future cellmate Terry Knight. The poem is basically in reference to Shank having sex with Knight.
Al Getz announces that Jeff G. Bailey has been fined $1,000 for his interference in the Bliss/Styles match. Getz bans Bailey from ringside for the next match.
MATCH #5: SHANK VS. TERRY KNIGHT — CHAIN GANG MATCH
NOTE: This is simply a chain match where both men are strapped around the wrist with a chain.
FINISH: Knight touches all four corners due to Shank getting arrested by the police.
Bob’s Take: Shank has the early advantage delivering a clotheslines with the chain. Knight stops Shank by working over Shank in the corner and drove the chain onto Shank’s face. Shank uses the chain to low blow Knight. Knight is busted open already. Shank hit a top rope leg drop and went to the top again, but is pulled off. They brawl on the floor, but nothing of much interest is taking place. Knight wraps the chain around his knee to strike Shank. Late in the match, Shank is going to touch the fourth corner, but police officers come out to arrest Shank to allow Knight to win the match. When you put a limited wrestler such as Shank in a stipulation that limits what you can do, your end result is going to be a lackluster bout. The police officers arresting Shank is a lame finish and the crowd didn’t like it. I didn’t expect much out of this one.

MATCH #6: WILDSIDE JUNIOR HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION ONYX & JEFF G. BAILEY VS. LAZZ — HANDICAP MATCH
FINISH: Lazz spears Bailey to win the title. After the match, Onyx is clearly mad with the outcome. Steve Martin grabs a microphone and says he hates everyone.
Bob’s Take: They go after each other on the floor where Onyx gets the advantage sending Lazz into the crowd. Lazz clotheslines Onyx into the crowd to keep the brawling going. Bailey is in the ring rooting on Onyx as Steve Martin cheap shots Lazz. Onyx accidentally strikes Bailey once they get into the ring. Lazz pummels Bailey on the mat. Bailey accidentally clotheslines Onyx to the floor. Onyx returns to the match to press slam Lazz and Bailey continued with strikes. Lazz is worked over quit a bit by Onyx and Bailey delivered a crappy middle rope knee drop. Lazz fights back with a spear on Onyx. Steve Martin gets in the ring to attack Lazz. Bailey leaps off Martin’s back, but misses a splash. Lazz kisses Martin. Bailey hits Lazz with a chair, but Lazz counters a suplex by Onyx by hitting a headbutt to the lower midsection to both men. Onyx delivered a spinning DDT, but Bailey stopped the pin. Bailey accidentally kicks Onyx and Lazz speared Bailey for the win. Honestly, this felt like a long match and it was drawn out for far too long. The finish protects Onyx as Bailey lost the title. Lazz is super over with the crowd and winning the title is probably the best decision. It’s a boring match with a lot of interference.

MATCH #7: WILDSIDE TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS BAD ATTITUDE (RICK MICHAELS & DAVID YOUNG) VS. BOOGALOO CREW (WRENN & DAZZ)
FINISH: Wrenn pins Young following the Boogaloo Bounce. Steve Martin comes out and makes the match best two out of three falls. Eventually, it ends in a no contest due to the Cole Twins.
Bob’s Take: Bad Attitude take care of the Platoon for some reason, and then Al Getz reveals the Boogaloo Crew are new members. Dazz leaps off the top into the crowd onto Bad Attitude. Michaels and Wrenn legally start the match with Michaels delivering strikes. Wrenn gained momentum with a backdrop to send Michaels reeling. Wrenn hits a Rock Bottom on Michaels. Young doesn’t fare any better upon entering the match. Dazz hit a nice top rope hurricanrana on Young. Dazz springboard moonsaults Young for a near fall. Young low blows Dazz followed by a DDT. Young stops Dazz with an impressive sit down powerbomb out of the corner. Dazz continued to be worked over by the champs with a double backdrop. Dazz stops Young with a hurricanrana, but Michaels delivered a clothesline from the apron. Michaels counters a springboard with a modified Death Valley Driver. Young accidentally punches Michaels and it almost cost the team. Dazz continues to be worked over by the champs. Dazz fights back with a hurricanrana and a heel kick to the champs. Wrenn finally got a hot tag and accidentally missile dropkicks Dazz. Wrenn teased a heel turn on Dazz, but doesn’t do it. Young pulls Dazz to the floor and Wrenn is almost pinned by Michaels. After some odd brawling, the Boogaloo Crew are able to put Young away with the Boogaloo Bounce. However, Martin being a heel causes the dusty finish. Michaels pins Dazz with a frog splash. The Cole Twins caused the DQ for the third fall, which is hilarious. Both teams brawl on the floor for a bit. It seemed like as the match went further along that they lost the structure of the match, but they had an enjoyable match compared to everything else. The dusty finish nonsense is a bit annoying. To finish the match with a no contest finish, is even worse.

MAIN EVENT: THE COLE TWINS VS. TOTAL DESTRUCTION (ROYAL & RIDDLE) — BAR ROOM BRAWL
FINISH: Royal pins one of the Cole Twins with a trash can shot to win the match.
Bob’s Take: Both teams start with chaos brawling at the start of the match. There’s maybe three minutes left on the tape when this match started. Royal is sent into a table in the corner. White Trash is at ringside to get the crowd behind Total Destruction. This is just hilarious that the match is so short and the bar room brawl gimmick is nothing more than a street fight. There wasn’t even any notable hardcore action here.

Final Thoughts:
One thing that I can’t ever understand thus far with Wildside is how the TV can be quite good often weeks, but when it comes to their big shows they are rather terrible. That’s the case here. The opening match and the tag title matches were okay, but nothing else is worth the time.
