End of show

My Take:
David Arquette was terrible in the opening segment. Throughout his promo he made some rather odd sounds and he just came across like a real dope. I know he is obviously not a wrestle but I would have to think someone told him to act the way he did. It was just really annoying.

The hardcore match was just a waste of time. Didn’t really offer much aside from the fact that one of the most over wrestlers in Norman Smiley has been “fired”. I wouldn’t mind Ralphus being fired.

The announcers acting like David Flair turning on Ric Flair is a big deal is just silly. Just over a year ago David did pretty much the same thing and aligned with the Wolfpac for a short time. The whole segment didn’t make sense. David would be working from the bottom to the top? Didn’t Ric use his power back in 1999 to award David the WCW United States Championship? The writers of WCW do not pay attention to their own product!

We get a rip off of Mr. Perfect and now a rip off of Lex Luger with Chuck Palumbo playing the role. Can they not come up with original gimmicks? By the way, Palumbo was horrible on the microphone.

I have no problem with Mike Awesome winning. I hope this mega push he is apparently getting lasts awhile.

Nash & Hogan taking out a handful of guts is just ridiculous. I know there is a size different but five guys should be able to get the upper hand on two older guys.

If the main event was given some more time it could have been a great match as what they did before the lame finish was solid stuff. The fans booed the ending and rightfully so.

Overall, I couldn’t get into the show. Aside from the Mike Awesome push and the main event before the finish everything else was just really lackluster and boring.

Thanks for reading.
