Angle Developments/Notes:
1.) As you can see, there isn’t a match involving any top talents thus making this show a squash match heavy show. So, just a warning that anything covered here will be interviews and segments that occurred.

2.) This is Rude’s return to action after being out several months with injury.

3.) Tony Schiavone interviews Ric Flair about Flair being on the Main Event and is going to be talking to Eric Bischoff about NWA World Champion Barry Windham. Yeah, they are promoting a interview instead of just doing it right now.

4.) Tony Schiavone tries to talk to NWA World Champion Barry Windham and apologizes to Windham for last week, but Barry just walks away yet again after the mention of Flair. Schiavone brings out WCW United States Champion Dustin Rhodes for an interview. Rhodes talks to Tony and says that he is the champion and suggests Rude just write his name on the dotted line to get a shot at the belt. The same applies to Paul Orndorff.

5.) Max Payne talks with Tony Schiavone after his squash match. Payne says that we need to pay attention to a name that Schiavone mentions. He is mad that Ric Flair is not talking about him and warns Flair to not forget his name. Payne says he will be a new man in the near future.

6.) Rick Rude comes back out and talks with Schiavone. Rude says that WCW has managed to ignite his anger and tells Dustin Rhodes to focus on him and nobody else. Rude still believes he is the WCW United States Champion. Rude says that everybody will feel the heat that he has to offer and is going to stand alone at the top of the heap. Everyone will realize he is the greatest wrestler in professional wrestling.

7.) WCW World Champion Vader and Harley Race close the show with an interview with Schiavone. Schiavone notes that British Bulldog is challenging Vader for the title. Vader claims to be the king of the world and he has no fear. Vader owns the valley and that valley is WCW. Vader says that everyone that steps in the ring with him pays with pain and agony and is fine with wrestling Sting one more time. Vader questions who Davey Boy Smith is to want to wrestle him for the championship.

Final Thoughts:
A fast show to get through considering the squash matches. The company has some good feuds going on, but the lack of interesting matches on the top program is really annoying.
