1.) Johnny B. Badd & Brian Pillman defeated Pretty Wonderful by disqualification

Angle Developments/Notes:
1.) Nick Bockwinkel has an announcement saying that Ric Flair sent a petition to the courts that Sherri Martel be allowed to be at the PPV. Bockwinkel announces that the court approved the petition. Thus, Sherri will be in Flair’s corner at the event.

2.) So, this is not a live show like it was announced last week by Mean Gene. It looks like he got confused with Saturday Night last week where it was an interactive vote leading to a Sting/Flair showdown.

3.) Badd and Roma kickoff the feature tag match. Badd backs Roma into the corner but backs off cleanly. Bischoff and Ventura are shocked by Nick Patrick’s new haircut, which is a bald look. Badd works over Roma’s arm before tagging in Pillman. Pillman briefly works over Roma before tagging Badd back into the match. Badd keeps control on Roma’s left arm. Badd shoulder blocks Roma and takes Roma over with an arm drag. Pillman tags back in and maintains the arm control. Orndorff tags in, but Pillman drop toe holds Orndorff and yanks on his arm. Badd enters to deliver a few more strikes and keeps arm control. Orndorff breaks free with strikes and tries for a clothesline, but Badd gets a crucifix pin attempt for a two count. Badd hammers away on Orndorff with right hands and keeps a hammerlock on Orndorff. Orndorff takes Badd down to the mat and tags in Roma. Roma stomps on Badd and delivers a few strikes. Roma forearms Badd and tags in Orndorff. Orndorff returns to the match and beats on Badd with strikes.

Orndorff keeps control on Badd with a bearhug before dropping Badd on the mat and keeps control with right hands. Roma tags back in with forearm strikes to the lower back, Roma keeps Badd on the mat with a front facelock. Roma uses the ropes for leverage while the referee is out of position. Badd elbows out of Roma’s headlock, but a knee strike stops him. Orndorff beats on Badd with a headbutt and right hands against the ropes. Orndorff takes Badd over with a suplex. Orndorff goes to the top rope and Badd gets his feet up to knock Orndorff down. Pillman gets the tag as does Roma. Pillman hammers away on Roma hitting a dropkick. Pillman chops Orndorff followed by another dropkick and rams Roma into the corner face first several times. Pillman tosses Roma out of the corner and goes to the top rope hitting a crossbody for a two count. Badd knocks Orndorff out with a left hand. Pillman has a rollup on Roma, but Orndorff tosses Pillman to the floor. Badd decks Orndorff and the referee calls for the bell a little late. (*1/4. They really went with a brawling match with a lot of strikes and didn’t allow Pillman and Badd to hit their big moves. The finish was lame and weak. I was disappointed by this match.)

Final Thoughts:
False advertisement with this not being the interactive show was a bit disappointing and then add the disappointing tag match makes this an overall bad episode.

Thanks for reading.
