Angle Developments/Notes:
1.) Backstage, Danny Doring cuts a promo asking himself how he scores so many women in so many different towns. Doring is putting over a woman behind him. Doring use to worry about guys like Chris Chetti, but he’s no doing that anymore. Doring doesn’t realize he’s touching Roadkill and Doring takes the woman with him. The woman would be known as Electra.

Chris Chetti slides into the ring and confronts Puff. Chetti kicks Puff several times and clotheslines Puff over the top to the floor. Jack tries to piledrive Nova, but Nova counters with the Kryptonite Krunch to win the match. (*1/2. As I’ve said before, I’m not a fan of the Dupps and the action here was average at best with Nova and Kash doing a good job when they were on offense.)

3.) Cyrus is on the phone until Sinister Minister enters the scene dressed as a priest. Minister takes the collar off because Cyrus says the office is Jewish. Cyrus dismisses Minister when he leaves.

4.) Joey Styles is in the ring with the Impact Players, Jason and Dawn Marie when Rhino, Tammy and Chris Candido come out. Candido says that they are using the Impact Players. Candido reminds Storm that he carried his ass for a year and a half. Candido tells Credible tht he brought him into ECW. Rhino wants to just kick ass and GORES Jason leading to a brawl in the ring. Tammy and Dawn have a catfight in the middle of the ring. Rhino holds Tammy back from further fighting.

5.) We see footage from the Limp Bizkit concert where Steve Corino confronted Fred Durst.

6.) Backstage, the Impact Players cut a promo saying they will be the next tag champions. Storm will not get distracted by Candido because he’s beaten him before. Credible says that Rhino isn’t the brightest bulb. Credible puts down Tammy as being a hooker and Dawn being hot as hell. They ask if Rhino is going to switch teams now or feel the impact. Credible finishes off with his catchphrase.

7.) Sabu is on the balcony using crutches before the start of the main event. ECW Television Champion Rob Van Dam grabs a microphone to cut a promo directed at Sabu. RVD wants the fans to applaud for Sabu. RVD notes that Sabu is good friends with Alfonso and not himself. RVD doesn’t think Sabu is healthy enough to challenge for the title again. Sabu is being held back by officials on the balcony. RVD dedicates the title defense to Sabu.

8.) Uganda attacks RVD from behind and delivers several strikes in the corner. Uganda chokes RVD in the corner to maintain control of the contest. Uganda splashes RVD in the corner. Uganda eye rakes RVD over the middle rope and delivers a strike to the throat. Uganda bearhugs RVD, but RVD claps free only for Uganda to hit a belly to belly suplex for a two count. Uganda headbutts RVD against the ropes, but RVD fights back with right hands. Uganda back rakes RVD and misses a clothesline. RVD delivers a spinning heel kick and a dropkick to knock Uganda down. RVD works over Uganda in the corner with strikes followed by a boot. Uganda shoves RVD off the top rope and RVD lands on the railing chest first. Uganda leaps off the apron to clothesline RVD on the floor and taunts the crowd. Uganda headbutts RVD on the floor and they trade strikes. Uganda misses a splash hitting the railing gut first. Uganda shoves RVD off the railing and RVD goes into the crowd as the show goes to commercial.

RVD somersaults off the railing onto Uganda. RVD somersaults over the top rope to take Uganda out with a dive. RVD dives over the railing to somersault leg drop Uganda in the front row. RVD is near the balcony and Sabu is being held back by officials. RVD grabs a table from the balcony as the show goes to another commercial.

RVD is on the balcony when Sabu smashes RVD with a chair. Sabu leaps off the balcony to splash Uganda through a table. Alfonso is holding Sabu away from RVD. RVD hits Uganda over the back with a chair a few times. RVD kicks Uganda away and kicks a chair into his face. RVD goes to the top rope hitting the Five Star Frog Splash for the win. (*1/2. For the most part, this was just using Uganda to put over RVD. Uganda had been built up a little bit, but he wasn’t going to be in the company for the long term, so I guess it makes sense to put RVD over on him. They are for sure building to another match between RVD and Sabu.)

9.) More footage of Corino confronting Fred Durst is shown. They had shown this segment on the TNN show. Balls Mahoney smashed Corino over the head with a steel chair to end the segment.

Final Thoughts:
I wasn’t a fan of this weeks episode as nothing really happened and the action was rather boring.

Thanks for reading.
