1.) D’Lo Brown joins Coach on commentary for this weeks episode of Heat.
2.) Earlier in the day, Raven was interviewed by Terri. Raven said that he will not be held accountable for his actions.
3.) Raven backs Dudley into a corner and delivers several strikes to the chest. Raven misses a clothesline and Spike drop toe holds Raven into the corner. Dudley forearms Raven to the mat and tries for a Dudley Dog, but Raven sends Dudley into the corner chest first and hits a clothesline. Raven knee lifts Dudley to the floor. Raven sends Dudley into the railing with a side Russian leg sweep. Raven pummels Dudley with right hands and rams Spike’s head onto the mat a few times. Raven gouges Spike’s face and hits a seated dropkick for a two count. Raven sends Dudley into the corner followed by right hands. Dudley avoids a bulldog out of the corner and headbutts Raven in the midsection. Spike forearms Raven a few times and delivers an atomic drop. Spike hits a bulldog and a clothesline. Spike hits a neckbreaker for a near fall. Spike pummels Raven with right hands in the corner. Raven misses a clothesline and Spike almost wins with a rollup. Raven catapults Spike throat first into the bottom rope. Spike takes Raven over with a hurricanrana for a near fall. Raven kicks Spike and plants Dudley with the Raven Effect for the clean win. (**1/4. I enjoyed the match as it was a fast pace and they had a lot of fun offense from both men. This is a big win for Raven and I’d be onboard for a Raven push, which may be happening.)
4.) Stasiak shoves Crash to the mat and taunts the crowd. Stasiak keeps control with strikes to the back and sends Crash to the apron. Crash hip tosses Stasiak followed by a dropkick. Stasiak misses a splash in the corner and Crash nearly wins with a rollup. Crash is sat on the top turnbuckle, but Stasiak counters a hurricanrana with a sit down powerbomb. Stasiak stomps on Crash and sends Crash into the corner back first. Stasiak sends Crash into the corner a few times and nearly wins following a clothesline. Stasiak plants Crash with a vertical suplex for a near fall. Stasiak elbows Crash over the neck and tries for a suplex, but Crash counters unable to hit a slam. Stasiak plants Crash with a back suplex for a near fall. Crash kicks Stasiak and plants him with a neckbreaker. Crash hammers away on Stasiak and drops Stasiak with a few clotheslines. Stasiak catches Crash on a crossbody and rams Crash into the corner. Stasiak drops Crash face first over the top turnbuckle. Stasiak continues with a side slam for a near fall. Crash comes off the ropes and rolls Stasiak up for the win. (*1/4. The finish was out of nowhere and seemingly random. Stasiak looked fined on offense, but there wasn’t much going on here. I was kind of surprised that Crash won.)
5.) Molly takes Jacqueline down to the mat, but Jacqueline counters with a hammerlock and almost wins with a rollup. Molly shoulder blocks Jacqueline, but is met with a hip toss. Molly drops Jacqueline over the top rope throat first. Molly gets a two count following a bridging suplex. Molly forearms Jacqueline, but Jacqueline nearly wins with another rollup. Molly knee lifts Jacqueline followed by a kick and rams Jacqueline down to the mat face first. Molly plants Jacqueline with a vertical suplex for a two count. Molly chokes Jacqueline over the ropes before sending her back down to the mat. Jacqueline gets a two count with a sunset flip, but Molly delivers a clothesline and a backbreaker. Molly heads to the top rope missing the somersault attempt, Jacqueline delivers a few strikes managing a two count. Jacqueline spin kicks Molly for a near fall. Molly gets a rollup and a handful of tights for the win. (*1/2. I kinda like that Jacqueline went for a lot of rollups and then ended up losing by a rollup. There wasn’t much substance to this match, though.)
6.) Show attacks Hardy before the bell for the early advantage. Show beats on Hardy over the back with strikes. Hardy is sent hard into the corner back first. Show lifts Hardy up by his neck and drops Hardy to the mat. Show steps on Hardy’s back while taunting the fans. Show knee lifts Hardy to maintain the advantage. Show continues with a chop in the corner and a delayed vertical suplex. Show sends Hardy through the ropes to the floor. Show decks Hardy off the apron to the floor. Hardy has a chair and Show punches it away. Hardy kicks Show in the corner and is caught coming of the middle rope. Hardy manages to grab the chair and smashes Show with it. The referee calls for the bell. After the match, Hardy hits the Swanton Bomb before leaving the ring. (*. Hardy loses by DQ and still gets his music played, which was weird. There wasn’t much to this and felt like an angle development between the two. On paper it’s a strong main event for Heat, but it didn’t deliver much quality.)
Final Thoughts:
Aside from Raven/Spike this weeks episode was kind of dull and uninteresting. Luckily it was only 45-minutes to get through.
Thanks for reading.
