A fairly basic opening bout, but it was fine for what it was. There were a few impactful moves to hold interest in the match. They didn’t go over the top with it, which is always a good thing for the opening match to do.)

Rocc will witness the destruction of Jason Bane. Once Rowe is done with Bane then he’ll kill Rocc. Rowe nails Rocc with a running knee to the back of the head. (**1/4. I enjoyed the action and the finish doesn’t bother me as it appears to be leading to something bigger for Rowe and Bane. Plus, Rowe will be coming back for Rocc to finish this issue off. I thought it was an effective segment for everyone involved.)

Sexual Harassment cut a promo about all the tag teams they have beaten for the past six months and tonight they get a shot they deserve for the tag titles. Xtsay doesn’t think people can prepare for what is in store for tonight. Xtasy doesn’t let Idol cut a promo as they head to the ring.

Xion nails idol with a running knee and Gory wins the match. (***1/4. I thought that was a good tag team match with both teams showcasing themselves very well. Xion and Gory are a really good high flying team while Idol and Xtasy are a solid traditional tag team. The crowd was into the match and liked both teams, so it made for a interesting dynamic.)

Delirious gets a bridging suplex, but both shoulders are down as the referee counts three. The referee awards the match to Gregory. (**1/4. I do like Gregory’s heel work as he’s an easy guy to dislike. The finish was lame and one that I really don’t understand. Delirious is the one doing the offensive move and is pinned by Gregory? Sure, Gregory is on top legally, but it’s a lame way to avoid Delirious from doing the job.)

It really just felt like a filler match or a cool down. It’s cool to see Gargano so early in his career. There wasn’t much going on here, but they tried and it didn’t overstay its welcome by any means.)

Doe hits a tornado DDT on Marshall, but the referee is pulled out. Vendetta comes out and powerbombs Doe. Marshall goes to the top hitting a splash on Doe for the win. (*1/2. I didn’t like the match and it felt like it took forever to get through. First off, if a mafia threatened to break my leg with a cement block, I’m probably not going to do arm drags and headlocks. This match should have been a street fight. I was hoping for a street fight. Considering the angle the match lacked serious aggression and intensity. Hopefully there’s a stipulation match in the future to makeup for the lackluster showing here.) After the match, the Family continue to viciously attack their opponents with a chair.

Main Event: IWC Super Indy Champion Larry Sweeney vs. Jerry Lynn: They start off by doing a dance off, which is actually funny. Sweeney takes Lynn down with a headlock, but Lynn gets out with a head scissors. Lynn gets a headlock, but Sweeney breaks free, too. Lynn shoulder blocks Sweeney and shoves Sweeney to the mat. Sweeney elbows Lynn on a go-behind and hits a neckbreaker followed by a DDT. Sweeney is stopped on the top rope and Lynn delivers a few strikes. Lynn hits a hurricanrana off the top rope. Lynn spikes Sweeney with the cradle piledriver for the clean win in the middle of the ring. (*1/2. I really wanted to enjoy this because I’m a big fan of Lynn and Sweeney is an entertaining heel, but this was too slow of a match to start and the action that followed just wasn’t captivating enough for me to enjoy. The crowd didn’t pop big for the title change and it felt like a lackluster main event in general.) After the match, Sweeney puts over Lynn for being a great wrestler and doesn’t feel like it’s a bad thing to lose to Lynn. Lynn also puts over Sweeney and for how well he’s improved. Lynn requests a few drinks at the bar and they embrace.

Final Thoughts:
There’s a few quality matches on the show, but overall I’m going to consider this a thumbs down show for IWC. The tag title match was the MOTN, but there’s just not enough on the show to make it a thumbs up.

Thanks for reading.
