2.) Kevin Sullivan defeated Damon Striker
3.) Chris Benoit & Brian Pillman defeated Buck Quartermaine & Bart Sawyer
4.) Eddie Guerrero defeated Johnny Swinger
5.) American Males defeated Dick Slater & Bunkhouse Buck by disqualification

Angle Developments/Notes:
1.) Terry Richards would go on to be known as Rhyno in ECW/WWE/TNA.

2.) Damon Striker would go on to be known as Edge in the WWE.

3.) They aired the Mike Ditka interview that was aired on Saturday Night.

4.) The end of the Guerrero/Swinger enhancement match may have been messed up as Swinger clearly kicked out of a slingshot senton splash, but the referee still counted the pin fall.

5.) Slater and Bagwell kickoff the main event with Bagwell trying to get control with a top wrist lock. Slater misses a clothesline and is slammed by Bagwell. Buck tries to get involved and is slammed, too. Slater gets a headlock on Bagwell, but Bagwell counters with a head scissors on the mat. Slater breaks free and chops Bagwell. Bagwell gets an inside cradle on Slater for a two count to avoids a figure four attempt. Buck tags into the match and locks up with Bagwell. Buck shoves Bagwell away, but Bagwell comes back with a shoulder block. Bagwell tags in Riggs. Riggs claps Buck on the head and gets a headlock on Buck. Buck shoulder blocks Riggs, but is met with a dropkick. Riggs clotheslines Buck over the top to the floor. Buck trips Riggs and slams Riggs leg over the apron. Slater stomps on Riggs a few times. Slater kicks Riggs on the knee followed by a headbutt. Slater knee drops Riggs on the knee and delivers a splash to the knee. Buck sends Riggs to the floor and Col. Parker kicks Riggs in the ribs.

Riggs tries to fight back on the apron. Riggs tries for a sunset flip, but Slater makes the save and boot scrapes Riggs. Slater decks Riggs with a right hand for a two count. Slater keeps control on Riggs, but is kicked away. Buck is tagged in and stomps on Riggs leg followed by a kick to the ribs. Buck almost decks Slater, but actually does on the second attempt on accident. Bagwell gets the hot tag and cleans house with strikes. Bagwell slams Slater as Sherri Martel makes her way down to ringside. Slater stops a pin attempt by Bagwell as all four men are in the ring. Bagwell has a sleeper on Buck, but Parker gets on the apron. Sherri distracts Parker and Bagwell gets a sleeper on Parker. Sherri attacks Bagwell causing a disqualification. After the match, Parker bails from the ring and leaves with Sherri. (*. It kind of felt like the match was just there to fill time and they didn’t really do much to take advantage of the time given to them. The DQ finish is lame and I’m assuming this was taped in 95 when Buck and Slater were a focus in the tag division and not a lower team as they are now.)

Final Thoughts:
It’s cool to see the future Rhyno/Edge in action even if they were just jobbers. The enhancement matches were fine this week with some fun guys getting their highlight. I’d consider this an average show despite a lackluster feature match.

Thanks for reading.
