As soon as Abyss was taken out of the match it was rather obvious where they were going to go here. Sabin advancing is great and overcoming the odds of Team 3D works for me. This was a better triple threat match than I was expecting it to be.)

Cage drops Lethal with the Un-Prettier. Styles leaps off the top hitting a frog splash and pins Lethal for the win. (**1/4. So, this was a triple threat match but it then literally had nothing to do with a triple threat match. The singles action was enjoyable, but I was left wondering how the promoted three-way would have gone. I don’t like that Lethal continues to be used in these spots to advance other storylines. The announcers made it seem as if Styles didn’t mean to win the match, but that’s not clicking with me.)

It’s a forgettable match, but I do like ODB.)

Joe waits in the corner, but Styles hits the Pele kick. Joe slams a charging Styles out of the corner. Joe sits Styles on the top rope and hits the Muscle Buster for the win. (***1/2. I was not expecting this match to go nearly as long as it did. It was not a surprise that these three put on a really good match given the extended time they were given. I was hoping that Sabin would pull off the victory since Joe is already established and was the predictable winner for the match anyway.)

There is a brawl between all six men with Nash, Joe and Hall clearing the ring in quick fashion. Eric Young comes out to the ring and shoves a turkey leg into Angle’s mouth to end the show.
Final Thoughts:
It’s an average show this week with the Angle dinner segments providing some entertainment. The three-way main event was a good match given plenty of time. It honestly looks like Turning Point is shaping up to be a lower-level pay-per-view with the six man tag main event. This show didn’t do a whole lot to add hype for that show. Next week should be interesting with the official in-ring debut of Booker T in TNA taking place.
Thanks for reading.
