2.) Matt Morgan is in the ring with the steel cage up and ready with Christmas lights all over it. Morgan wishes everyone a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

3.) Steiner and Storm kickoff the cage match as this will be contested with tag rules. Storm backs Steiner into a corner, but Steiner counters to deliver a few chops. Steiner hip tosses Storm out of the corner followed by an overhead suplex and a clothesline. Steiner drops an elbow and does a few pushups. Hernandez tags into the match, but Rave tags into the match as well. Rave knee lifts Hernandez followed by strikes, but runs into a spinebuster. LAX hit a spear/clothesline combo in the corner. Homicide catapults Rave into Hernandez and Hernandez tosses Rave face first into the cage for a two count. Roode tags into the match and Homicide delivers a drop toe hold and an elbow strike for a one count. Homicide comes off the ropes and hammers away on Roode. Roode sends Homicide into the cage. Roode stomps Homicide on the mat and chokes Homicide as the show goes to commercial.

Hoyt press slams Homicide into the cage and Storm enters the match. Homicide punches Storm a few times, but Storm hits a high knee strike. Storm plants Homicide with a swinging slam for a two count. Hoyt returns to the match, but Homicide delivers a boot and tries to tag out. Hoyt misses a spear and hits the cage. Booker tags in and cleans house with right hands to all the heels. Booker plants Rave with a spinebuster for a near fall. Everyone gets in the ring at this point as everyone brawls. Christy Hemme gets chased away by the mysterious LAX member. Booker plants Rave with the Book End and earns a three count. (*. It certainly wasn’t a surprise that Booker T earned the win for his team. I’m not entirely sure why this needed to be in a cage, but TNA loves their gimmick matches.)

4.) Back to the Christmas party where Angelina Love and Velvet Sky arrive. Sky says they are their to help service the hot guests. Eric Young doesn’t know what they are talking about, but they are terrified of Bruno and Tilly. ODB enters the party and riles everyone up. ODB tells Young she’s not a slut and wants the bar. Awesome Kong is next to join the party, but doesn’t say a word.

5.) Team 3D and Johnny Devine come down to the ring to cut a promo. Team 3D are dressed up as Santa. Devine is dressed as an elf. Brother Ray wishes everyone a Merry Christmas. Ray says they are feeling very giving and call out Jay Lethal, Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin. Ray wants to apologize for treating them poorly. Well, we end up getting little people versions of them coming down to the ring. Ray sits down on a chair and invites them to sit on his lap. The first guy acts like Chris Sabin and is tossed to the mat by Ray. The next guy plays Alex Shelley, but is also thrown to the mat. Lethal is last and his wish is spending one night with So Cal Val. Ray tells Lethal he’s got five bucks and wants his change back. They get mad at slap Brother Ray. Team 3D and Devine end up attacking the impersonators until the real guys chase the heels from the ring. The pole match is up next.

6.) One stocking is an Ultimate X match and the other one is a glass table match.

Lethal sends Ray into the corner and is met with an elbow strike. Ray clotheslines Sabin and Shelley, but Lethal stops Ray from reaching the stocking. Ray plants Lethal with a Rock Bottom as the show goes to commercial.

Everyone is brawling on the floor as the show returns. Devon sends Shelley into the railing. Ray drops Lethal with an elbow strike and a scoop slam. Devon climbs to the top, but Shelley knocks Devon off the top. Lethal counters Ray and the little Alex Shelley hits the What’s Up on Ray. Devine decks Lethal from behind and begins to climb the corner. Sabin crotches Devine in the corner and is held by little Lethal and Shelley. Devon hits a double clothesline on the Guns. Devon catches little Sabin, but is met with a low blow. Guns hit the Total Elimination on Devon. Ray is met with several kicks and Lethal leaps off the top to hit an elbow drop. Little Lethal did the same to Ray. Shelley grabs the Ultimate X stocking to win the match. (**1/2. It was rather obvious they were not going to do a glass tables match. It’s a good win for the X-Division and Team 3D didn’t take an actual fall or anything. So, in that regard nobody is hurt from this and it gives the X-Division some steam.)

8.) Back to the Christmas party where Christy Hemme is dancing on the couch. Bruno and Tilly need to use the bathroom, but Awesome Kong knocks them both out. Kevin Nash arrives to the party. Angelina and Velvet quickly go over to Nash and flirt with him. Nash jokes that Santa isn’t the only person coming tonight. ODB throws a drink on Angelina and that leads to the women brawling as the show goes to commercial.

9.) TNA World Champion Kurt Angle and Karen Angle arrive to the party. Young asks if he can service Kurt. Kurt asks Karen to clean the floor for Eric. Kurt tells Young that Santa doesn’t exist. Kurt says that Santa is like Shrek and Spiderman in that they aren’t real. Young doesn’t understand nor believe what Kurt’s telling him. Kurt wants to know where the booze is at.

10.) Samoa Joe has arrived to the building and it’s speculated by Tenay and West that Joe is pissed that Christian Cage gets a TNA World Championship match against Kurt Angle at Final Resolution.

11.) Kim goes right after Kong in the corner and they go to the floor brawling. Kong chops Kim by the ramp, but Kim sends Kong into the ramp. Kim stomps on Kong and delivers an elbow strike. Roxxi nails Hemme with a big boot as the other women brawl in the ring. Hemme hits a reverse DDT on Traci. Moore big boots Roxxi while ODB has trapped Angelina under a box. ODB stands on the toy box. ODB leaps off and splashes onto Roxxi. Angelina and Sky have the toy box and hit ODB to the floor. Sky spanks Traci a few times. Kong slowly makes her way back to the ring to take part in the match. Sky and Love try to double team Kong, but they get tossed away. Kong clotheslines Moore and Brooks. Kong nails Roxxi with a spinning back fist. Kong grabs Hemme and hits a sit down powerbomb for the win. (DUD. The match isn’t good, at all. Just give me Kong vs. Kim.) After the match, Kim returns to the ring with a chair. Kong stops Kim, but Kim kicks free and forearms Kong. Kim whacks Kong with a chair over the back and then over the head to drop Kong to the mat. Kim pummels Kong with right hands, but security runs into the ring to pull them apart.

12.) Back to the Christmas party where Eric Young puts over Matt Morgan for doing great. Chris Harris enters the party and asks where the party is at. Harris says there isn’t any music or women thus it’s not a party. Young thinks that Santa is bringing Harris’s present. Harris is pissed that nobody got him a present for his birthday. Lethal, Shelley and Sabin along with the little guys join the party. Sonjay Dutt arrives to the party and asks for a donation from Young. So Cal Val arrives with mistletoe. Dutt swoops in and kisses Val, which pisses off Lethal as the show goes to commercial.

13.) Backstage, Crystal is with Samoa Joe. Joe says “screw you” when asked about going to the Christmas party. Joe suggests he get more money than the Christmas party. Joe would like to kick ass instead of the party. Joe asks where Matt Morgan is at, and he’s told that Morgan is at the party. Joe backs Crystal against a locker and tells her that Morgan will never forget the party.

15.) Abyss misses a splash in the corner, but sends Reign to the floor. Abyss pummels Reign with right hands on the floor and sends Reign into the railing. Rellik grabs a golf club, but Boy uses the club on Rellik. Boy swings the club and nails Rellik in the ribs. All four men are on the floor brawling for a moment. Reign kicks Abyss in the ring to gain control. Reign elbows Abyss, but is met with a big boot. Abyss splashes Reign in the corner and hits a running back splash. Rellik superkicks Abyss and holds Abyss for a clothesline by Reign as the show goes to commercial.

Abyss hits Reign and Rellik with a hockey stick. Abyss also dumps out pieces of broken glass. Boy nails Reign with a strike from the top rope. Abyss and Boy send the barbed wire tree into Reign. Abyss has a cover on Reign, but James Mitchell causes a distraction. The lights go out and Judas Mesias appears and strikes Abyss followed by the Straight To Hell onto the tacks. Rellik plants Boy with the Demon Driver and wins the match. (*1/2. It’s a harmless hardcore match to continue to add build for the Judas/Abyss feud.)

16.) Samoa Joe arrives to the Christmas party to confront Matt Morgan. Joe is pissed that this time isn’t allocated to wrestling. Joe asks if this has been catered, which it has been. Joe is annoyed that the salary can’t be increased for him, but they can do this stuff. Joe tells Morgan they stick the latest contract offer up his ass. Joe feels bad for his behavior. Joe wishes everyone but Sonjay a Merry Christmas. Joe proceeds to wreck the area and walks off saying have a happy New Year, too.

17.) Back to the Christmas party where Eric Young is bummed with Jeremy Borash. Young thinks that Santa is still on the way and he knows that Santa will fix it. Borash tries to tell Young that Santa and Shrek are fictional. Borash looks up and sees Santa. Young is in awe of Santa to end the segment.

18.) Styles starts off with an eye poke to stagger Kaz. Styles goes to the floor to grab the ladder, but Kaz spears Styles on the floor. Kaz rams Styles face first onto the apron. Kaz sends Styles over the railing into the crowd. Styles leaps off the railing to forearm Kaz onto the ladder. Styles clotheslines Kaz onto the ladder. Styles goes to the other side to grab a second ladder and slides it into the ring. Kaz blocks a strike and hooks Styles for a suplex, but Styles blocks a suplex. Styles sends Kaz into the ladder in the corner. During the break, Styles monkey flipped Kaz onto the ladder. Kaz hit a powerbomb, but Styles hit a dropkick to gain control. Styles sets the ladder up and begins to climb, but Kaz gets up and tilts the ladder causing Styles to be crotched over the top rope. Kaz runs up the ladder in the corner, but Styles fights free. Styles gains footing and tries for the Styles Clash off the top, but Kaz counters with a backdrop onto the ladder. Kaz sets the ladder up in the middle of the ring. Styles stops Kaz and they trade right hands on the ladder. Styles manages to slam Kaz off the top of the ladder to the canvas.

Kurt Angle makes his way down to ringside to root on Styles. Styles is distracted, but sits on the top of the ladder. Kaz tips the ladder and Styles crashes into the corner. Kaz climbs the ladder and grabs the reindeer suit to win the match. Angle can’t believe it. (****. The stuff they did here is kind of nuts to do on free television for a ladder match. The stipulation of wearing a reindeer suit is pretty dumb, but this was a great TV ladder match. Styles and Kaz made great use of their time and should have impressed everyone watching this despite the stipulation.)

19.) AJ Styles doesn’t want to put the reindeer suit on and tries to leave, but the referees prevent Styles from escaping the ring. Eventually, Styles puts the reindeer suit on. Kurt puts the reindeer top on causing Styles to flip out and have a temper tantrum. Angle has a microphone and reminds Styles he was a turkey at Thanksgiving. Kurt says that AJ being an angry reindeer makes it worse. Angle says Styles is s disgrace and wants Styles to go backstage and say “I’m not a reindeer” a thousand times.

20.) Eric Young comes down to the ring with Santa. Kurt looks annoyed at seeing Santa with Young. They are tossing TNA merchandise into the crowd. Santa gets in the ring and gives a DVD to Angle. Angle chuckles and proceeds to toss the DVD away. Kurt tells Eric that he said earlier that Santa isn’t real. Angle asks if Shrek is going to come down to the ring. Kurt asks the fans if they believe in Santa and calls them idiots. Kurt never got a present from Santa. Kurt notes he won a gold medal in 1996 and still woke up to no present. Kurt thinks he’s entitled to wishing for something. Kurt doesn’t want a wish for himself, but rather for someone else. Kurt wants Christian Cage to grow some balls and show up to the show this week. Santa doesn’t think he can do that. Kurt clotheslines Santa and decks Young. Angle tosses Young over the top to the floor. We see a young girl crying in the crowd. Kurt puts an ankle lock on Santa. Christian Cage comes out of a giant present at ringside and attacks Angle. Cage nails Angle with the championship. Cage tries for the Un-Prettier, but Angle counters. Cage counters Angle and puts the ankle lock on Angle for a moment until Angle bails to the floor to end the show.

Final Thoughts:
The main event was a bright spot as was the interaction between Kim and Kong. However, the Christmas themed nature of the show hurt the program. There was no need for the cage match stipulation. The Christmas party segments were not entertaining. It’s a subpar overall show, but I’d check out the main event.
