Angle Developments/Notes:
1.) After his victory, Crush raised Horowitz hand, but Horowitz collapsed due to the Kona Vice hold.
2.) Special Report with Lord Alfred Hayes focuses on WWF World Champion Randy Savage and his focus as champion. We take a look at the interview from last week. Ric Flair and Mr. Perfect shared comments, as well. Perfect says that some guys have to do whatever it takes to win matches. Perfect thinks that Savage is done. Flair reminds us he’s the dirtiest player in the game and he’s looking forward to his second reign as WWF World Champion.
3.) Beverly Brothers shared a pre-tape promo during their match. The Beverly’s say that LOD’s fathers are disappointed because they wanted two boys, but they got two little sissy girls. After their victory, the Beverly’s paint an enhancement guy with red paint and LOS on his chest. They force the enhancement talent to name Hawk and Animal as sissies.
4.) A vignette promoting Razor Ramon is shown. Ramon is in a Cadillac, which was custom made for him. Ramon says 90 miles away they are living like pigs and people telling them what to do. However, nobody is telling him what to do. Ramon is coming to the WWF and nobody is going to stop him. Ramon assures that nobody is going to tell him what to do. Ramon tosses a toothpick at the camera.
5.) Mean Gene conducted an interview with The Mountie and Jimmy Hart on the podium. Mountie teases Gene with the shock stick, but doesn’t use it on Gene. Hart talks about Sgt. Slaughter finding out the hard way that the Mountie always gets his man. Gene asks what Mountie was thinking to render Slaughter unconscious. Mountie says it’s written all over Slaughter’s face that he’s been doing a lot of chin ups. Mountie doesn’t like Slaughter coming out nationwide and ordering people around. Mountie asks who Slaughter thinks he is. Mountie asks if we know who Mountie is and he declares that he’s the Mountie. Mountie says the only thing he enjoys more than his green machine is hearing a great American like Slaughter scream.
6.) Nasty Boys cuts a promo on High Energy saying that no birds will be flying and no rocket will be taking off. High Energy will be short circuited when they meet the Nasty Boys.
7.) High Energy used a new finisher where Owen had one of the Executioners on his shoulders and Koko hit a missile dropkick to win the match.
8.) They showed footage from the WBF Championship competition. It looks rather corny and not very good, whatsoever. Gary Strydom won the competition to retain the title.
Final Thoughts:
An average episode this week for Wrestling Challenge. There wasn’t any major developments, but it was a fine hour program.
