Angle Developments/Notes:
1.) Team Tomko makes their way out to begin the show to cut a promo. Brother Ray knows that Tomko doesn’t want to waste any of his breath on the losers in the arena. Ray notes that Lockdown is just a few days away and insults Christian Cage by calling him an insignificant little man. Ray says that all Cage accomplished last week was piss them off. Ray thinks that Matt Morgan being their fifth member will backfire and suggests that Morgan not show up to Lockdown in Boston. Ray blames both Nash and Sting for WCW going out of business. Ray mentions that Nash and Sting will be wrestling Team 3D for the first time ever. Ray grabs the tag title, but Tomko yanks it away.

Christian Cage makes his way out with his team to the top of the aisle. Cage heard them running down Sting and Nash. Cage asks for Brother Ray to stop crying and whining. Cage says that Brother Ray is like Hilary Clinton in a fat suit. Cage apologizes and says that Clinton has bigger balls than Ray. Ray flips out in the ring. Cage thinks they are made because they made them look like jackasses. Cage figured out what was going to happen after Storm hit Sting with a glass bottle. Angle dismisses the notion that Joe has been training with the best fighters when he’s the best. Angle promises that Samoa Joe will submit at Lockdown and for the last time.

4.) A vignette promoting Consequences Creed is shown. Creed debuts tonight.

5.) Rave plays to the crowd and kicks Creed in the midsection. Creed quickly gets out of a headlock and arm drags Rave. Rave sits Creed on the top turnbuckle, but Creed responds with a scoop slam and a leg drop for a two count. Rave nails Creed with a leg sweep clothesline combo for a two count. Rave stomps on Creed’s face to maintain the advantage. Creed fires back with strikes, but a knee lift by Rave and a running knee strike gets a two count for Rave. Rave rams Creed into the corner, but Creed tosses Rave into the corner to deliver several strikes. Creed hits a leaping forearm strike and a clothesline. Hemme gets on the apron to distract the referee and Hoyt distracts Creed. Rave gets a two count on a rollup. Creed decks Hoyt off the apron and drops Rave with a right hand after a split. Creed plants Rave with a hammerlock DDT to win the match. (*1/2. I like Creed’s energy. I don’t think he’s going to win the X-Division Championship, but I think he can be a good addition to the X-Division.)

6.) Backstage, Crystal interviews TNA X-Division Champion Jay Lethal and So Cal Val. Lethal says he’s going to be the one who walks out of the cage. Sonjay Dutt enters the scene and continues to hit on Val right in front of Lethal. Dutt asks if Val wants to go shopping and they proceed to leave to go shopping. Lethal is starting to question what is going on.

Sabin nails Steiner with a missile dropkick and kicks Steiner to the floor. Williams clotheslines Shelley, but Sabin kicks Williams and the Guns hit a double team powerslam/DDT combo, but Williams kicks out at two. Sabin baseball slides Steiner on the floor, but misses a crossbody attempt and crashes to the floor. Steiner trips Shelley allowing Williams to hit the Canadian Destroyer and that’s good enough for a three count. (**. A decent match and I’m glad that Williams got the win to show his worth to Steiner. I’m a little bummed that the Guns are being used in this manner, but I guess they are limited with the teams that could fit the role.)

11.) Scott Steiner grabs a microphone and puts over Williams for surviving his initiation and calls Petey a crazy SOB, but Williams has one more test to pass. Steiner reveals that he’s going to cut Petey’s hair, but Petey doesn’t like the idea. Petey kneels in the middle of the ring and Steiner proceeds to shave Petey bald. Steiner puts the metal headdress onto Williams. They pose on opposite middle ropes to end the segment.

Angle says that the match on April 13th at Lockdown is the most important match of his career along with Joe’s career. Angle puts over the TNA World Championship as the most prized championship in wrestling. Angle has a document where it states that Joe will have to quit wrestling forever if he loses. Kurt calls out Samoa Joe to join the contract signing. Samoa Joe makes his way down to the ring to join the segment. Kurt tells Joe that he’s going to need all the training sessions. Angle wants Joe to sign the document and once again states if Joe doesn’t win the title then Joe will quit wrestling forever. Joe came out to reassure Kurt and the fans that he keeps his promises. Velvet Sky gets on the apron to cause a distraction. Love eye rakes Roxxi, but collides with Sky on the apron. Roxxi hits the Voodoo Drop and pins Love for the win. (*. I’m glad Roxxi won as she’s at least talented in the ring. That finisher looks great for Roxxi.)

BG admits mentally he’s a wreck. Kip can’t wait to fight BG in the cage and as it gets closer he can’t sleep. BG doesn’t know what to think since Kip hates him so much. Kip says that when he’s done with BG he’s going to become World Champion, which is what he’s always wanted to do.

18.) Reign pulls Eric to the floor and sends Eric into the ring post shoulder first. Reign sends Eric into the ring steps before returning to the ring. Eric comes out of the corner to clothesline Reign and delivers a scoop slam. Eric heads to the top rope and hits a missile dropkick. It’s the only thing that he knows. Sting asks what roads Ray has paved and claims that Ray is marking out for himself. Sting promises that Ray will never question him again. Nash chimes in and says Sting is honorable, but Nash is simply here for the money. Nash would rather be overpaid instead of underpaid. Nash says going through Team 3D keeps him in the spotlight. Nash will go wherever the money is at.

20.) Nash and Devon kickoff the main event with Nash delivering a knee lift and strikes in the corner. Nash continues with an elbow drop to send Devon to the mat. Nash elbows Devon in the corner and tags in Sting. Sting punches Devon to keep control of the match. Devon punches Sting in the corner a few times. Cage hip tosses Storm on the ramp. The brawling continues to end the program.

22.) The show ends with a three and a half minute music video promoting the Lockdown pay per view.

Final Thoughts:
I have very little interest in Lockdown 2008. Lethal Lockdown comes across weak and the heels have zero chance of winning that match. The stipulation of Samoa Joe retiring from all pro wrestling if he doesn’t win makes it a forgone conclusion that he’s going to be champion. There’s nothing to get excited about, at all. They’ve done a horrible job promoting the PPV and doing anything to bring interest to the event.
