A decent match to kickoff the show. Daniels tends to be an underrated wrestler and I enjoyed his offense. Landell is absolutely working a more old school style, and he was enjoyable in that role.)

Batts had some good fire and the crowd responded well. Roselli did well, as well. Roselli’s power moves looked better considering Batts is much smaller than him. This exceeded my expectations.)

That was a solid tag match between two local teams, I thought. Neighborhood especially looked good with some fun offense and high flying attacks. I’m kind of surprised that Neighborhood didn’t get a shot with any other promotions that I’m aware of. Whenever local guys deliver quality matches that I’ve never seen before it makes these shows worth checking out.)

I thought this was a really good match. The action was constant throughout and there wasn’t really much of a lull. This is a huge victory for Xavier, who tended to get flack for being ROH World Champion years earlier. He’s clearly talented and this ended up being a ton of fun.)

A little bit a disappointment for the main event, but I’m not sure what I expected from these two. It felt like what you’d see on a WWE house show, which isn’t necessarily bad, but it’s a forgettable bout.)
Final Thoughts:
For a less than two hour show, I thought there was enough good action to make this a worthwhile show. Xavier/Sabin was a standout match and the local tag match stood out to me, as well. NEW Wrestlefest X is a fun show and gets a recommendation from me.
Thanks for reading.
