Angle Developments/Notes:
1.) Lord Alfred Hayes hosts the WWF Special Report and focuses on WWF Intercontinental Champion Bret Hart feud with Shawn Michaels. We see footage from Superstars where Michaels cut a promo saying he’s the sexiest and hottest man in the WWF. Michaels sees himself as the next WWF Intercontinental Champion. Bret Hart provides a response and says that Michaels carries a mirror to build his confidence up. Bret says they are both wrong that it’s going to make a difference. Bret says he’s the best there is.
2.) Rick Martel cuts a promo about Tatanka’s feathers being handed down by generations, but when Martel sees something that he wants he takes it. There is nothing Tatanka can do about it.
3.) High Energy cut a promo during Nasty Boys match. Owen explains there name because they are always moving fast. Koko sings their team name, and that’s it.
4.) The Mountie cut a promo during Sgt. Slaughter’s match. Mountie zapped the shock stick and asked if it sounded familiar. Mountie simply asks if Slaughter knows who he is to end the promo.
5.) Mean Gene conducted an interview with The Berzerker and Mr. Fuji on the podium. Gene recalls what Fuji has done over the years as a wrestler and manager. Fuji tells Gene that he’s Master Fuji. Fuji says nobody has succeeded getting through Berzerker, and that includes Undertaker. Berzerker says that Undertaker talks softly, but he talks loud. Berzerker burps loud and smells loud. Berzerker has something that can stop Undertaker. Berzerker lays awake at night to think of ways to bust Taker up. Berzerker is going to rub Taker’s head on the cold, hard cement and promises Taker will not get up. Berzerker says that Taker is going to get a proper viking burial as he will stab Taker with his sword. Fuji jokes that Taker will be a cold cut. Berzeker cuts Gene’s tie in half.
6.) Razor Ramon vignette airs this week. Ramon is living the good life having a drink when a woman comes up complaining that Ramon never called her back. Ramon tells her that he’s done with her and tells her to leave. Ramon says the women are fun and he’s probably scarred her for life, but oh well. Ramon tells us it’s strictly business in the ring. He’s not going to scar your heart, but rather your soul in the ring.
7.) British Bulldog cut a promo during Repo Man’s match. Bulldog says when he steps in the ring with Repo they will see who does the begging.
Final Thoughts:
A decent episode for Wrestling Challenge. Berzerker promo wasn’t actually too bad. It’s a simple hour of TV without major developments, as expected.
