Tim Dix is in the ring to welcome everyone to the show and promotes Hardcore Hell taking place in a few days. Bill Behrens is introduced to the ring and Behrens has a tennis racket with him. Behrens came out to 2001 Space Odyssey, which is Ric Flair’s theme song. Behrens has a problem and notes there was an assault in the ring. Behrens reminds us that he was struck by Rick Michaels. Behrens called a good friend of his, Jim Cornette. Behrens brought a weapon thanks to Cornette’s advice and Behrens reveals Cornette will be in Wildside by the end of April. Behrens says that Michaels and David Young have committed copy infringement with the name of Bad Attitude and using the Midnight Express theme. Michaels stole the Chosen One nickname from Jeff Jarrett. Behrens says nobody should ever steal material, ever. Jeff G. Bailey and Ruckus make their way down to the ring along with the rest of their group including Eddie Golden, Terry Knight, Onyx,, Al Getz and Scottie Wrenn. Behrens calls them the NWA Elite. Behrens warns Bill Apter to not talk about what he’s doing. Behrens notes that most of the championships are controlled by the NWA. Behrens has called the big leagues to get rid of the NCW leftovers. Behrens brought in Luther Biggs and Big Ron Studd (Reese in WCW) to assist them. Biggs and Studd make their way down to the ring. Biggs grabs the microphone and says that Behrens told him he needed help to elevate the talent. Biggs thinks the crowd needs to be elevated. Biggs brought in Big Ron Studd from Japan. Biggs says the the Biggs Express is going full steam ahead. Behrens mentions Michaels and says it would be a real shame if someone shot on them.

Opening Contest: Gemini vs. Billy Love: Gemini slides into the ring and scares Dix out of the ring. Gemini avoids Love in the corner and hits a top rope missile dropkick. Gemini hits a Death Valley Driver powerslam for the win. (NR. Well, that was quick. For the brief outing, Gemini looked good.)

Steve ‘Chance’ Martin is in the ring sporting a neck brace and says he’s embarrassed over what happened. Martin is sick and tired of being pushed around and takes off the neck brace. Martin tells security to get rid of the heel section of fans. Security escorts the heel fans out of the arena. Martin doesn’t need to convince anyone which company is better. Martin says that Rick Michaels and David Young have always had his back even if they don’t always see eye to eye. Martin calls out Michaels and Young to join the segment. Martin and Michaels shake hands. Michaels wants to hear NCW from the crowd, and they do it. Michaels says they all at Bill Behrens guts. Michaels says they are a family and not just a team in NCW. Michaels calls out the locker room and everyone comes out to show unity. It includes AJ Styles, Jorge Estrada, Romeo Bliss, Jesse Taylor and Stone Mountain amongst others. Michaels tells Behrens bring the best that he has because they are trash. Michaels promises that Bad Attitude will pin New South in the ring. Martin chimes in and says that NWA may be bigger, but everyone loves an underdog.

Second Contest: Scottie Wrenn vs. White Trash: Trash atomic drops Wrenn, but runs into a clothesline and stomps by Wrenn. Wrenn clubs Trash over the back with a strike and hits a splash in the corner. Wrenn hits a springboard twisting leg drop to maintain the advantage. Trash fights out of a powerbomb attempt. Wrenn stops Trash with a big boot. Wrenn punches Trash against the ropes and delivers a kick to the midsection. Wrenn plants Trash with a powerbomb leading to the win. (NR. Wrenn is good and this is fine to give Wrenn more momentum for the cage match.) After the match, Al Getz cuts a promo saying Wrenn is going to destroy JC Dazz in the cage. Dazz tries to get into the ring, but is stopped by security. Daz breaks free and manages to hit a neckbreaker on Wrenn. Dazz heads to the top rope, but Behrens hits Dazz with a tennis racket. Wrenn beats on Dazz and Getz gets a few shots in, as well. Wrenn plants Dazz with a sit out press slam. Bad Attitude and Jorge Estrada run into the ring to make the save.

Backstage, Abdullah the Butcher and Honest John are sitting. John says that they’ve killed people and we’re going to get more today. John promises that NCW will never be the same.

Third Contest: NCW Television Champion AJ Styles vs. Onyx: Styles punches Onyx followed by a kick and a couple of arm drags to send Onyx bailing to the floor to regroup with Jeff G. Bailey. Onyx counters a baseball slide by dropping Styles chest first over the guard railing. Onyx tries to send Styles into the railing, but Styles springboards off the railing to hit a moonsault on the floor. Styles rolls Onyx back into the ring and decks Onyx with a right hand. Onyx drops Styles face first onto the mat to counter a head scissors and gets a two count. Styles sends Onyx into the corner and springboards off Onyx’s chest before hitting a clothesline. Styles stomps Onyx on the mat and nails Onyx with a thrust punch. Onyx plants Styles with a powerbomb leading to another two count. Onyx clubs Styles over the back and delivers a strike against the ropes. Styles dumps Onyx over the top to the floor. Styles hooks Onyx for a suplex, but Bailey pulls Styles leg and Onyx nearly wins the match. Team NCW comes out to ringside again to make sure Bailey is a non-factor. Styles plants Onyx face first to the mat and wins the match to retain the title. (**. A decent match, but they may be doing the Team NCW unity stuff a little too much.) After the match, Eddie Golden sneaks into the ring and steals the NCW Television Championship.

Backstage, Jeff G. Bailey is wondering what he’s going to do with the madman Abdullah The Butcher and off camera sees people that could help him. After a commercial, its revealed to be Frenchy Rivera, Billy Love and John Arnhdt. They leave and Bailey says they’re dead.

Abdullah The Butcher beats up on the three guys that Bailey offered a spot into his group if they could take out Butcher. I’m not going to classify this as an actual match. Butcher beats on Love with fork shots. Butcher has bloodied Love after several fork shots. Rivera comes out and tries to get the job done, but is quickly met with fork shots. Rivera is gushing blood, which is honestly gross. They wonder why they’d get a crappy early morning time slot. Butcher pinned Rivera after an elbow drop.

Main Event: NWA Wildside Champion Ruckus vs. Abdullah The Butcher: Ruckus gets in the ring and attacks Butcher with his own fork. Ruckus digs the fork into Butcher’s head and Butcher doesn’t seem fazed by any of it whatsoever. Butcher nails Ruckus with a right hand to drop Ruckus and hits Ruckus with the fork. It looks like a fan tried to use a chair and security got involved. Rivera is still laid out in the ring bloodied. Butcher knocks the referee down while choking Ruckus in the corner. Security continues to have issues with a fan in the crowd. Butcher starts decking anyone that gets in the ring. Butcher rams a guy onto a table head first several times. Ruckus gets a few shots in as they walk up the ramp and head backstage. Ruckus hits Butcher with a fork several times. Butcher tosses Ruckus down the aisle and tosses a chair at Ruckus. That’s it. (NR. This accomplished essentially nothing. Sure, Butcher is a madman, but this didn’t help anyone at all. Butcher is not a good worker and he’s incredibly boring. I didn’t like Ruckus bumping all over for Butcher of all people.)

Final Thoughts:
The heavy focus on NCW vs. NWA and the teams forming likely means that the end game has to be War Games, It makes too much sense at this point. I didn’t enjoy this episode for the most part. Butcher didn’t add anything to the show and I hated how Ruckus was presented.
