3.) Diamond Dallas Page defeated Super Calo
4.) Kevin Sullivan & Konnan defeated JL & Joe Gomez
5.) WCW Cruiserweight Champion Rey Mysterio Jr. defeated Juventud Guerrera to retain the title

Angle Developments/Notes:
1.) Jacques grabs a microphone before the match begins and demands the crowd to sing the Canadian national anthem. Pierre and Jacques proceed to sing the anthem and get drowned out by the crowd.

2.) Steve Armstrong is dropped over the top rope by the Amazing French Canadians and beaten down by Pierre with several strikes. Canadians hit a running clothesline/leg sweep combo to Steve. Steve ducks a clothesline and hits a double dropkick. Scott gets in the ring as well and Pierre is met with a backdrop. Jacques is sent to the floor with a double dropkick. Scott slams Pierre and Steve drops Scott onto Pierre. Scott heads to the top rope, but is caught in midair. Jacques leaps off the top to hit an elevated splash. Jacques locks in a Boston Crab on Scott allowing Pierre to hit a middle rope leg drop. Pierre covers Scott and wins the match. (*1/2. Honestly, for the short match they got it was actually rather enjoyable. I’ve always liked the Amazing French Canadians dating back to their WWF run two years earlier.)

3.) Inferno works over Powers with strikes and rams Powers into the corner. Powers ducks an elbow strike and kicks Inferno in the midsection. Powers nails Inferno with a knee lift. Powers plants Inferno with a powerslam and wins the match! (NR. That was a shocking upset!)

4.) Backstage, Mike Tenay is with the Four Horsemen for an interview. Mongo warns Hogan and his goons that they are coming to get them. Benoit chimes in and says he will not be so silent, but much more violent. Arn Anderson recalls everyone in the War Games being laid out on their back and fear because they realized they bit into a Horsemen. Anderson says that Luger didn’t hold up his end of the deal and he got dealt with on Nitro. Anderson thinks Sting has lost his mind. Anderson’s focus is on winning matches and making money. Ric Flair says that he’s learn you don’t go anywhere without Mongo and don’t leave Benoit behind. Flair is also pissed that Luger didn’t hold up his end of the deal. Flair confirms they are back together and a force in WCW.

5.) DDP tosses Calo down to the mat to kickoff the match. DDP delivers a few short arm shoulder blocks and knocks Calo down to the mat a few times. Calo arm drags DDP out of a tilt a whirl causing DDP to regroup in the corner. DDP knee lifts Calo and hit a tilt a whirl slam. DDP stomps on Calo to maintain control of the contest. DDP chokes Calo over the middle rope. Calo avoids a backdrop with a kick to the chest. Calo leaps off the top top to hit a missile dropkick and a senton splash from the top for a near fall. Calo dropkicks DDP into the corner, but DDP sends Calo into the corner and plants Calo with a cutter off the ropes for the win. (*1/2. A fine sprint of a match. DDP has been working well with Cruiserweight opponents lately.)

6.) It shouldn’t come as a surprise to anyone that Konnan and Sullivan dominate most of their match. Konnan pins JL following a powerbomb. Gomez never legally entered the match nor did Sullivan.

7.) Booty Man’s interview series continues with Booty saying he helped Hogan because he was his friend. He was proud of Hogan and is upset that it’s over like this. Booty notes that WCW told him that he wasn’t needed. Booty got an invite to Hogan’s birthday in the mail recently. Booty recalls getting a cake bringing it to the ring. Booty recalls getting attacked by Hogan and his heart being pulled out. Booty suggests the friendship was never real. Booty can’t believe that Hogan used him the way that he did. Booty realizes it was always just business. Booty doesn’t know who he is anymore. He says he’s not the Booty Man, Zodiac or Butcher. He doesn’t fit in anymore and thinks he needs some time.

8.) Guerrera gets wrist control on Mysterio to kickoff the title match. Mysterio catapults Guerrera to the apron, but Guerrera hits a springboard heel kick. Guerrera continues with a springboard moonsault to the floor. Guerrera chops Mysterio on the floor before returning to the ring. Guerrera misses a springboard twisting dive. Mysterio hits a moonsault and a spinning heel kick to send Guerrera to the floor. Mysterio runs off the apron to hit a hurricanrana on the floor. Mysterio misses a strike and Guerrera nearly wins with a German suplex. Mysterio breaks free from another suplex and dumps Guerrera to the apron. Guerrera tries for a suplex to the floor and they land on the apron. Mysterio drops Guerrera face first onto the apron and hits a hurricanrana into the ring. Mysterio gets a two count after a standing moonsault. Mysterio hits a gut wrench powerbomb for a two count. Mysterio hits a springboard snap hurricanrana for a near fall. Guerrera stomps on Mysterio and spikes Mysterio with a brainbuster. Guerrera misses a top rope leg drop. Mysterio climbs to the top and hits another hurricanrana for the win. (***1/2. I mean obviously these guys are going to do some crazy stuff and they delivered a fun match here full of high spots and fast pace wrestling.)

9.) Backstage, Mike Tenay interviews Randy Savage. Savage wonders what else Hogan is going to do whether it’s spit on him or put him in a grave. Savage says they are alive at the same time on planet Earth. Savage says they go back a long way. Savage hasn’t given up hope yet and he’s going to do it for himself, but for also WCW. Savage is down to one marble and doesn’t care if he loses the last one. Savage declares that Elizabeth is out of his life and he’s going to walk out of Halloween Havoc as the champion.

Final Thoughts:
That was a fun one-hour program. An upset, a great main event and a Savage promo.

Thanks for reading.
