Angle Developments/Notes:
1.) The Berzerker and Mr. Fuji share pre-tape comments during Undertaker’s match. Berzerker says the only thing he likes more than slamming Undertaker on the concrete floor and beating Taker up is hitting Taker over the head with his sword. Fuji provides a laugh and that’s it.
2.) WWF Special Report with Lord Alfred Hayes focuses on the Legion of Doom finding their doll Rocco in the junkyard. We see footage from WWF Superstars where Paul Ellering found Rocco. Rocco provided them with insight on how to be a team. Ellering thinks this is the best thing to happen to LOD and they will bring Rocco to the ring so they won’t forget their past.
3.) Tatanka provided pre-tape comments during his match. Tatanka talks to the great spirits and chiefs above. Tatanka tells Rick Martel that there is only room for one at the top and Martel will be extinct.
4.) After his victory, Nailz attacks the enhancement talent with a nightstick and officials come out with a stretcher.
5.) Money Inc. provided pre-tape comments during their match. IRS says that the Natural Disasters have been whining and crying and now it’s time to put their money where their mouths are. DiBiase chimes in and says he doesn’t think he has that much money.
6.) Mean Gene introduces Ultimate Warrior for an interview on the podium. Gene wants to talk about the black magic by Papa Shango. Warrior says he does believes that the fans will get more than they give as they cheer on Warrior. Warrior says they will become even greater and more powerful. Warrior says they have devoured Shango’s black magic and says they shall destroy Shango with the power of the Ultimate Warrior.
7.) Shawn Michaels and Sherri shared pre-tape comments during his match. Michaels believes the WWF Intercontinental Championship would look better around his waist. Michaels says everything looks better on him and looks in a mirror.
8.) A vignette promoting Razor Ramon is aired. Ramon says he’s somebody important as he walks on the sidewalk where people are selling food. Ramon says people want to be him and kids want to grow up to be like him. Ramon tells kids to forget about school because what they learn in a book isn’t the same as what they’d learn from Ramon. Ramon says you have to take whatever you want. Ramon threatens a worker and spits food in their face. Ramon promises there will be a problem if anyone in the WWF has a problem with him taking whatever he wants. Ramon spits food into the camera to end the vignette.
9.) Repo Man shares pre-tape comments saying that Bulldog became a puppy dog when he got choked out. Repo says that Bulldog will obey his orders.
Final Thoughts:
The Rocco development for LOD is corny and makes them look kind of silly. They are relying on a doll to give them support. That’s not a badass thing to have going for them. Aside from that, it was a decent show without any developing for major angles.
