Angle Developments/Notes:
1.) Footage from SummerSlam 1992 is shown as the VHS tape is on sale September 24th. They actually show a action from Savage vs. Warrior which involved Flair and Perfect. Plus, Kamala vs. Undertaker and the aftermath of Bret Hart vs. British Bulldog.
2.) Gorilla Monsoon and Bobby Heenan talk about integrity that Savage and Warrior showed. Heenan tells Monsoon that they aren’t done with this.
3.) Repo Man shared comments during his enhancement match. Repo loves his job because nobody knows what he’s going to do next. Repo says if he wants to reposes someone’s career than he will.
4.) Money Inc. cut a promo during the Natural Disasters enhancement match. DiBiase says they have had to wait for their rematch and they shouldn’t have to wait when he has a lot of money. IRS says the Disasters may be paying sooner than they think.
5.) As the Natural Disasters walk up the aisle, Money Inc. is seen on the big screen waiting with a steel chair and briefcase to attack the champions. However, officials get in the way to prevent the sneak attack.
6.) Mean Gene conducts a podium interview with Razor Ramon. Gene says the word he gets on the street is that Ramon doesn’t care for the WWF World Champion Randy Savage. Ramon tells Gene that’s the problem. Ramon says there is only one man in the WWF who is oozing machismo and it’s Razor Ramon not Randy Savage. Ramon says that Savage may be the WWF World Champion, but Ramon can see through Savage and considers Savage to be hallow inside. Ramon insults the fans as being stupid. Ramon says that Savage cares about the fans, but Ramon only cares about himself. Ramon wants Savage to listen to him. The first time that Savage comes face to face with Ramon that Ramon is going to give Savage lessons in machismo.
7.) WWF Tag Team Champions Natural Disasters share comments during Money Inc.’s enhancement match. Typhoon says they aren’t scared of anyone and they don’t need to wait to attack they go right after them Earthquake says if they want the titles they’re going to have to get them face to face.
8.) Next week, Nailz, The Bushwhackers, Kamala, High Energy, and Razor Ramon will be in action.
Final Thoughts:
An enjoyable episode coming out of SummerSlam. I liked the segment of Money Inc. trying to sneak attack the Disasters as it was a similar to what they did earlier in the year with Jake Roberts and Randy Savage. Razor Ramon is fresh to the company and quickly being inserted into the main event scene to potentially be a challenger to Savage is an interesting direction. They have almost three months before their next pay per view and that’s plenty of time to build Ramon to a level to be a challenger by that time should it be the direction they go in.
