Recently, I was scrolling through YouTube and I stumbled upon a match that quickly caught my attention. I couldn’t believe it was something that happened outside of mainstream professional wrestling companies. It had nothing to do with the wrestlers promoted in the match either. Instead, it was the match concept or description.
Back on June 29th, 2024, a promotion named Remarkable Wrestling put on a match named the Chambers of Horror. For the long-term wrestling fan you’d know this as a match that happened at WCW Halloween Havoc 1991 where Abdullah The Butcher got electrocuted.
So, admittedly I am a sucker for steel cage matches and since this is a Chamber of Horror in an Elimination Chamber style concept, I knew I had to see it and decided to write about it as well. I have not watched the match prior to writing this article. I always go into things blind otherwise a good portion of the reviews on the site probably wouldn’t exist (you’re welcome.)
Lets get into the background of the contest.
The Elimination Chamber match in the WWE Universe has six competitors with four men in pods and two men starting the match. After typically five minutes, a random competitor is released from a pod. It’s elimination format, so there is five eliminations. Now, let me introduce the competitors in the Chamber of Horrors match presented by Remarkable Wrestling.
David Graham — 21-years old wrestling for two years and primarily wrestling for Remarkable Wrestling. Trained by Cono Cappuccia.
Cono Cappuccia — 39-years old formerly known as Justin Toxic. A trainer for Remarkable Wrestling and had been a fixture for ICW (NY) and NYWC a decade ago.
Gabriel Skye — 27-years old, got his start with CZW in 2018 and has worked regularly for Beyond Wrestling and has had several appearances for GCW.
Percy Ryan — 35-years old, has been wrestling for a handful of years and works for Beyond Wrestling. As of January 2026, he’s out with injury.
Matt Tremont — 37-years old, a legend in death match wrestling having won several world titles including nearly 400 days as the CZW World Champion in 2015-2016. Held the IWTV Independent Wrestling World Championship for 226 days.
Dezmond Cole — 28-years old, trained by Cono. Has held the Limitless World Championship on two occasions. Also regularly appears for Beyond Wrestling.
This match is also for the vacant Remarkable Heavyweight Championship, which had previously been held by KC Navarro. Navarro was originally promoted for the match, but did not compete and appears to have been replaced by David Graham.
JUNE 29TH, 2024 — SPORTS ARENA — ST. JAMES, NEW YORK
There are in fact four pods, but there is not a roof to the cage. It’s not the same structure as the Elimination Chamber, which would be ridiculous to expect. Honestly, this was incredible and I loved the action. It’s far more violent than any Elimination Chamber the WWE has done in the past 10+ years as there was plenty of blood and big time spots. Tremont spearing Percy through the pod was not something I was expecting, but in hindsight I should have expected someone to go through the pod door. Cono being driven through the wooden platforms by Skye was another insane spot that was done very well. The match didn’t disappoint with the usage of weapons and the bloodshed. A pet peeve of mine is when a match with such a stipulation doesn’t deliver on the violence aspect, but they did more than enough here to keep me entertained throughout.
Aside from Tremont, I hadn’t seen much of any of the guys involved. Percy Ryan came across very well as a heel and I like his Jawline gimmick. That’s so different that it stands out in a great way and it’s memorable. Gabriel Skye was great, too. Dezmond Cole has been getting more and more buzz on the indies and I can see why during this match. I’m thinking I’ll be checking out more Remarkable Wrestling in the future. Everyone in this match entertained me, and I don’t think I would have ever found this match nor learned of these guys without the match being on YouTube.
