Morton kicks Rhodes in the corner and rams Rhodes into the corner. Rhodes atomic drops Morton followed by a clothesline for a two count. Morton eye rakes Rhodes again, but runs into a boot in the corner and Rhodes hits the bulldog for the win. (*1/2. This lacked compelling offense as Morton didn’t have much offense that would be considered impactful on Rhodes. Also, it was a bit tough to buy into Morton as a heel against Rhodes due to the noticeable size advantage for Rhodes.)

3.) Scotty Flamingo is running solo as JT Southern is not in his corner, which had been the case in recent weeks. Flamingo won his enhancement match following a piledriver in under two minutes.

4.) Eric Bischoff visited the Fabulous Freebirds Enterprises recently. Bischoff didn’t have an appointment and the front desk calls for security. Bischoff gets escorted by security, but an older woman comes by and calms down the situation. The woman proceeds to give Bischoff a tour of the office. Another woman meets with Bischoff after the brief tour. They head to the board room to talk in private. Michael Hayes and Jimmy Garvin are in the room already making prank calls. Hayes signs the record deal and Bischoff congratulates them on their recent title win. Garvin says they are on their way to the WCW Tag Team Championships now. Hayes says they have more planned for WCW.

5.) Jim Ross talksa bout Larry Zbyszko’s relationship with the Dangerous Alliance and mentions a match from Saturday Night recently. We see footage of the six man tag match from Saturday Night where Zbyszko ducked the Russian Sickle and Anderson got hit by it leading to the victory for Rhodes, Steamboat and Koloff. After the match, Zbyszko shoved the Dangerous Alliance and had a standoff with Arn Anderson. Ross says Dangerously wants the issues to be handled within the family. Thus, on Saturday Night later tonight it will by Zbyszko vs. Steve Austin.

6.) Lance Russell and Eric Bischoff host a segment promoting the NWA Tag Team Title Tournament is shown. The tournament begins on June 22nd at the Clash of the Champions. We see footage of a press conference announcing the tournament. At the Great American Bash PPV the new NWA Tag Team Champions will be crowned.

7.) Missy Does The Mail hosted by Missy Hyatt is next. Hyatt talks some more about the allegations made by Madusa towards Ricky Steamboat. We see footage of three women claiming they are having an affair with Ricky Steamboat. Hyatt knows the Dangerous setup that whole fiasco. Diamond Dallas Page showed some incriminating footage of Dangerously talking to the women who claimed the fake affairs. Dangerously is not happy with DDP for doing that. Ricky Steamboat appeared in the crowd as the Dangerous Alliance protected Dangerously on the stage. Steamboat jumped on the stage to get his hands on Dangerously as Windham. Rhodes and Koloff came out to brawl with the Dangerous Alliance.

8.) Steamboat and Hughes kickoff the tag team main event. Steamboat is wearing a face guard due to his facial injuries. Hughes puts a headlock on Steamboat and shoulder blocks Steamboat. Steamboat arm drags Hughes and knocks Vegas to the mat. Hughes scoop slams Steamboat followed by an elbow drop. Vegas tags into the match and strikes Steamboat followed by a clothesline for a two count. Vegas scoop slams Steamboat to the mat. Steamboat sunset flips Vegas for a two count. Steamboat strikes Vegas and tries for a slam, but Vegas lands on top for a near fall. Steamboat breaks free and tags in Koloff. Koloff puts a wrist lock on Vegas followed by overhand strikes to Vegas shoulder. Koloff continues to strike Vegas over the arm. Koloff shoulder blocks Vegas to the mat. Vegas chokes Koloff against the ropes. Koloff shoulder blocks Vegas and tags in Steamboat. Steamboat dropkicks both Hughes and Vegas. Steamboat strikes Vegas in the corner as Koloff works over Hughes and they send the heels into each other. Steamboat delivers an overhand chop onto Vegas off the top for a two count. Koloff knocks Hughes to the floor and Steamboat hits a top rope crossbody onto Vegas for the win. (*. There wasn’t much to this one. This was mostly just a match to put over Steamboat and Koloff as they are a team for the NWA Tag Title Tournament.)

Final Thoughts:
I don’t have much interest in the NWA Tag Team Title Tournament as I feel like it waters down the tag division. I mean, they also have the WCW United States Tag Team Championships, so it feels a bit much in the tag division. This is a skippable episode.
