Angle Developments/Notes:
1.) Earlier today, Stephanie McMahon and Triple H arrived to WWF New York. HHH is the Intercontinental and one half of the Tag Team Champions.
2.) Michael Cole and Tazz are hosting and are sitting on the stage. They promote Stephanie and HHH and bring them out to chat. Tazz apologizes to them and welcome them to the show. HHH puts himself over as being a champion and he’s the game. HHH isn’t happy they wouldn’t welcome them to the show. They show the history of their relationship dating back to 1999. Cole asks if Stephanie ever really loved Test. Stephanie didn’t know the real meaning of love until she met Test. She considers Test to have been an attraction. HHH insults Test saying that she used Test’s buck teeth to clean her floors.
3.) I’m not sure why, but they are asking them questions in relation to things that happened over a year ago. Stephanie isn’t going to explain the power they had because they wouldn’t be able to understand it. HHH threatens to fire them or go over there and kick Cole’s ass. HHH doesn’t see that as being an abuse of power. HHH talks about ending Mick Foley’s career. HHH puts over Foley’s ability to take a beating, but he was too much for Foley to handle.
4.) They also talk about Foley’s return as commissioner. This is truly baffling to me as to why they’re discussing such old content. They then also bring up the issue with Kurt Angle. Stephanie is upset about adding fireworks to the kiss with Angle. HHH downplays the go-behind he performed on Trish Stratus. Michael Cole asks if anything was going on sexually between HHH and Stratus. HHH makes a funny face as if perhaps something maybe did happen. Stephanie believes HHH that nothing happened. Cole asks Stephanie if she cheated on HHH with Kurt Angle. HHH insults Angle by suggesting they aren’t playing on the same team. HHH says that the fans knew for years when they’ve chanted that Kurt sucks. He didn’t know what they meant.
5.) There are now fan questions. One fan asks what turns Stephanie on. HHH makes fun of the guy for being short. Stephanie answers that a big, strong and handsome double champion turns her on. Another fan asks about Shane McMahon owning WCW. HHH says that Shane wants to be Vince McMahon badly, and he will never be Vince. HHH says that what happened to Test could happen to Shane. Stephanie promises that Shane will be punished for his business move. Another fan asks if HHH’s career will branch out into television and movies like Chyna and Rock. HHH says that Rock is doing movies because they beat him up so bad he had to leave the company. HHH will make movies if he feels like, but nobody will chase him out of the WWF like they did for the Rock. HHH says his relationship with Steve Austin will last for as long as they want to. HHH gets a little uncomfortable about a reunion with Chyna, but Stephanie simply answers no for him. Another fan asks how Stephanie felt about Trish being with her father. She beat her down and showed how she felt about it. HHH has no comment on the manner.
6.) HHH says he’ll cross the bridge of Kane returning when that times comes. He’ll be back on Monday.
Final Thoughts:
Well, I hope that was a one-off kind of episode because that was boring. Talking about issues that happened well over a year ago. I’m not sure what the point of that was.
