Rhyno waits in the corner, but Benjamin trips Rhyno. Benjamin rams Benoit into the corner. Haas decks Rhyno with the tag championship to cause the disqualification. After the match, Benoit cleans house sending the tag champs to the floor. (**. A decent match with a lame DQ finish. It almost feels like the main focus for the tag titles is between these two teams and Los Guerreros are basically attached to get them on the show. It was a solid match for what it was and Rhyno has been doing well since his return from injury.)

Bob Costas promotes the feud between McMahon and Hogan.

Backstage, Stephanie McMahon tells Brian Kendrick she was upset to learn he was the penguin last week. McMahon says Kendrick is a liability and not a member of the roster. Kendrick says he’s been trying to impress Stephanie and apologizes. Stephanie tells Kendrick she’s offering him an opportunity. If Kendrick beats Shannon Moore tonight then he’s on the roster. Kendrick thanks Stephanie for the opportunity.

John Cena provides another rap somewhere outside the building. Cena claims that hip hop hates him. Cena is offering an open challenge for WrestleMania for a rap battle. Cena laughed at Brock Lesnar for getting fooled last week. Cena is returning to Smackdown next week.

Footage of Los Guerreros going to a golf course to play some golf with two cocky white golfers. They threaten the white golfers to be their partners on the course whether they like it or not. It shouldn’t come as a surprise that the Guerreros cheat while playing and they end up winning money, watches and keys to their cars.

Second Contest: Los Guerreros. (Eddie & Chavo) & Rikishi vs. The FBI (Nunzio, Palumbo & Stamboli): Nunzio works over Eddie with strikes, but is met with a tilt a whirl backbreaker. Eddie hits a top frog splash for the win. (**. A solid six man tag match. I kinda wish that the FBI could get a win to be a viable group, but that would be a massive upset heading into WrestleMania. If they had won here they could have made the tag title match a four way.)

(*1/2. I wish Noble was put in a spot to look credible, but he’s clearly being pushed down the card since his title reign that ended late last year. Mysterio is someone that doesn’t need to be in the Cruiserweight division.)

Stephanie says that Kurt owes it to himself and the fans to give the fans the best WrestleMania match the industry has ever seen. Kurt isn’t going to have a great match for the people, but rather for himself. Kurt reminds us that he won a gold medal with a broken neck and believes he can beat Lesnar at Mania. DeMott clearly isn’t getting past the level of being the guy who beats up Cruiserweights. I’m not sure why he was put in this spot to stop his momentum on the undercard.)

Backstage, Brock Lesnar is getting checked by doctors. Lesnar doesn’t want them to touch his ribs.

Fifth Contest: Shannon Moore vs. Brian Kendrick: Kendrick controls Moore with a headlock. Kendrick takes Moore down to the mat and keeps a headlock on Moore. Kendrick earning a contract is the right move and I think he’ll be a great addition to the division. If Mysterio doesn’t win the title at Mania, I could see Kendrick winning the title soon after Mania.) After the match, Hardy taunts Mysterio by holding the title.

McMahon forces Hogan to sign the contract in his own blood. McMahon leaves Hogan laying in his own blood to end the program.

Final Thoughts:
The in-ring action was a little disappointing this week. Hogan/McMahon segment seemed to be the main draw for the show and it was a good segment. I’d consider this a skippable program aside from the closing segment.
